Older men

But why do you only come in contact with 20 something year olds? Is it also because you simply prefer them in regards of physical attraction? I mean everyone with a brain knows a 30 or 40 something year old woman can be at least as good in bed, and the baggage thing (from another poster, not you) seems a lame excuse or a ludicrous generalisation.
If you go to the college or uni gym if i understood that correctly, isn't that really an ideal excuse to avoid 'older' women and hope for another chance with a younger chick?

 

Isn't it common for men to like younger girls though and especially these days they see younger girls as more out there in terms of sexuality whereas the older guys grew up in a generation filled with doctrines of monogamy, they basically missed out on that sexual adventure during their lives and see younger girls as a more flamboyant outlet?

I'm inexperienced with men obviously, but I enjoy talking to older guys in chat rooms and that's the general thought I get when I speak to them. You tell them one little kinky story and their mind is blown. Far out! They do declare.

 

I don't think girls are any more sexually flamboyant today than they ever were. To a degree. I mean, there's probably a lot more anal these days. I could be mistaken about that, though.

But men in their sixties and seventies didn't miss out on sexual adventure in their youth due to a puritan society.

Young girls being naive probably has a lot to do with older men being attracted to them as well. They aren't as "wise" as older women. I put wise in quotes, because their so-called wisdom is acquired through a lifetime of foolish experiences. But they get old and judgmental. While men just have these pathetic dreams of being seen as wonderful, interesting human beings. By the time a girl turns 25, she's been hurt by enough narcissistic douchebags not to trust men any more. She likely has a list of red flags to look out for. Men are put through these rigorous tests of whether or not they're genuine.

Part of the dream of a relationship is being best buddies with someone in a childlike way. Which is ruined by older womens' cynicism in many cases. Young girls aren't all about being practical and aren't "confident" enough to bitch you out for leaving the toilet seat up.

I have noticed the difference in porn from when I was 15 to now 30yo. Chris Rock in a stand up thing said once, dudes want to experience what they see in porn, that's what they want to do. I know it was comedy, but I think I agree with him in ways because even I find myself sometimes looking at a kink clip and wanting to try things.

An adult store 10 years ago used to sell costumes, DVDs and a selection of vibrators, now I can walk in and buy restraints, bondage gear, spreader bars, whips chains and duct tape to name a small few items. This obviously wasn't the norm of sexual appetite 20yrs ago, yet pornography has opened the door for this type of kink.

 

My gym is separate from the college. They are not near each other. And it isn't that I'm avoiding women my own age. I simply don't encounter them on a day to day basis. They are off at their jobs and going home to their husbands, I'm sure.

 

Exactly, its just stuff the old guys say to younger girls now.

Guys in their 60s now where in there teens in the 70s, 20s in the 80s. More casual sex happening before AIDs was a thing than after

well yeah, when i was 15 i was waiting 10 minutes for my computer to load an image of kirsten dunst's head badly photoshopped on a naked woman's body. now we have streaming video and life is good.

 

Also back in the 70s women had the big ol bush going on which is less prevalent with younger females today. Probably lots of older guys didn't even know what vagina looked like.

 

I don't want to do what I see in pornography. I'd much prefer to have plain old boring missionary style sex. I don't want to have to live up to the pressures of being an ideal lover at all. It mostly just seems vainglorious to me.

I don't think anyone is ever satisfied, either. I think people watch porn and think it's the penultimate experience. Then they try it and it's a big let down. Because sex isn't meant to be everything. People aren't realistic about sex, but if they were they'd realize they can never base their whole lives around it like porn stars do.

I basically think our society has this whole adulation thing for the young, though. We are desperate to remain young. Old people are treated like they're not supposed to be confident, especially in a sexual way. They really are treated very disrespectfully, until a lot of times they just kind of go away in their heads without even realizing it. It's all about being young and living fast and doing all these crazy things. And as you get older you sort of realize that's not what life's all about. Your focus just shifts away from all of that and you're more interested in the lives of others. But rarely do even the old appreciate that there's something deeply wrong with our attitudes towards them. They just kind of graciously accept that they're old and unwanted.

 

Actually, as I get older the more I realise I want to keep moving and living fast and doing more things or else I'll grow to a point where I can't and I know I'll regret certain things. Whether that's travel, Life or sex it's paramount to me to keep chasing desirable experiences, an addiction even.

 

You'll grow to a point where you can't regardless of what you do. And not always because you're physically unable, but because you'll be conditioned by other people to believe you're feeble as well.

And what will you do when you're old? Just think about yourself? I bet you become like most old people, obsessed with your grandchildren or whoever you have that is still young and in the midst of life. And only then will you be satisfied. Unless you're discarded like so many elderly people are.

 

Highly unlikely since I don't plan on having children I'm also a free spirit and doubtful anybody else's opinions will influence my life in any way.

When I'm old and incapable, I only hope I'm satisfied. That's all. I should be satisfied now, I've done almost everything I wanted to in life and I'm only 31 but that just motivates me more to keep doing more things, experiencing more things. I don't have a bucket list or anything, I just go with what the heart wants.

Anyway... I have a B.S. in Accounting, but I'm not in practice and I'm studying for personal enrichment.

I cant picture you as an accountant. Did you not like it? You seem like someone who would be more attracted to a creative field.

Give it 10/15 years, youll just want to nap all the time. A nap becomes the no.1 priority

 

Even if that is so, I will nap pleasantly with the thoughts and dreams of a life well lived.

Though I don't see that being the case either. I see older people doing more things now than my parents generation, like 45 isn't even old.
