Then be the first for God's sake. Let's start now, it's taken too long as it is. Maybe people will catch on and follow your example.

I already know you'll disagree with me but I'm with the scientists that say there is know such thing as 'race'.

It depends on how you want to define what race is but of course our genetic similarity and ability to mate proves we are very much the same. I am big on science don't worry.

I got the point now (at last :grinning: )

Anyway, the main reason unfocusedanakin keeps bringing racism up is of course because he's concerned about it and wants to discuss how problematic it is and can be. Which it undeniably still is. Seems the best reason to bring it up.

Not just 'very much' but precisely the same, by which I mean there is as much genetic difference between you and I as there is between you and some random stranger of a different skin color. Dividing ourselves into skin colors is infantile. Why not divide ourselves according to eye or hair color, or height? I guess the reason is that, for whatever reason, skin color catches our eye in a hurry. There may be an evolutionary reason for that but it surely has no useful purpose today. Let's let it die and let's move into the future together as one race.

We could divide by eye and hair color.. the stats would say that blonde hair and blue eyes is white though :p and a lot of those factors come from the shape of your head, as skin pigmentation is only one way when distinguishing difference of people. This is why the skull of a Nord is measured differently than a skull of others. The help branch the Nordic characterizations of thinner, strangly lighter hair and eyes. I don't feel as if that is environmental. That's your genes. And if gene create difference, then how can something different, be the same?

Oh God, I just realized what I said. In the world of the future how will be decide to be racist against, or who to feel sorry for? We'll be all mixed up genetically.

Because that decision is not up to you. I am pretty sure you are a white guy. You don't "see" it but you are Caucasian. So if you think racism in not an issue and society can just move on it's like a expecting a dog to see in color. White people are in general not victims of the same level of racism that other people are in America.

They are the ones who say that people do not live as one. They say they get judged just because of the color of their skin. There are many examples of this with police and black people for example. Some of them I admit the black person does questionable things too but many of the times they do not. This does not happen to white people. Statistically it's just
more likely a black man will die from the police. Math does not lie so for some reason this kind of person who is the same as everyone else is not the same to police.

We also have one politcal party that openly allows people with white supremacist views to hold elected office and a president who says all the dog whistles. That is kind of not getting it past it. It's a dangerous politcal time in America.

Racism is an issue in America and it pisses me off. I hate nationalism, fundamentalism and racism...not necessarily in that order. The reason those are issues is because people simply won't, for some reason, let it go. Well I'm letting it go, I don't care if people like it or not. I have had enough of it. If deciding not to see race as a thing is racist so be it. Enjoy your racist world.

I'm not sure how a blonde blue eyed white or Caucasian is by definition more white than a red or brown haired white person. Other than by subjective personal opinion.

I thought so too. Humans are like dogs :p The bigger the mutt you are the less prone to such issues :)
But if scientific research can convince me otherwise I'm game :D

I suppose when black and Latin people say they don't shot for no reason or denied jobs. When people are not afraid of people speaking Spanish. When people don't call the police because a Mosque is in the neighborhood. It's a long term cultural conditioning. Trump being president shows we are not close.

If do what you say we should do none of that matters. Let the people who walk 1,000 miles to come here come. Don't judge them as a criminal. They are the same as you so let them have sort of way to move to citazinship considering the country they came from is shit. Not letting them do that is racist in America.

They say it's an economic issue. How bad is your background if a person with no Social Secuity Card who does not even speak English can take your job? Even minnium wage jobs need a card and fluency in English. They have to legally show an American is working for them. Even jobs hiring high school drop out and felons needs these things.

If a Mexican is hired it is because an American wants to not follow American labor laws or has a job considered so bad an American will not do it. They are here since they do fine jobs yet we blame them for doing what we will not. No American will pick fruit for 12 hours in the hot sun, not for the pay an American farmers wants to pay compared to his own profits and hassle. Walls are racist and we want them.

I don't disagree with any of that. I still don't feel sorry for them because they aren't the same skin color as me. It makes me angry because they are people being treated like shit.

  18. It's still a massive load of straw. Because those things have happened, they now happen all of the time in every circumstance? Of course not. But it doesn't matter when you want to use it to establish moral high ground or an otherwise superior position in a discussion.

    Since I don't see a bibliography, I'll consider what I recall.

One thing that catches my attention is the assertions about fruit pickers. They only represent 4% of the US Hispanic population at large (American, registered guest worker and alien). People getting shot for no reason isn't the domain of any particular race, so it's a useless point. So to is the thing about people being denied jobs. That happens to everybody regardless of race. It's not a new phenomenon either.

What's also interesting is the investment in the fear message. Americans are supposedly "afraid" to hear people speaking Spanish. A language that has been spoken in North America far longer than English. I fail to see how fear is even an issue. Unless, of course, a larger picture is being laid out.

If an American walks 1000 miles to cross a border into a country without being authorized, know what happens? They get arrested, thrown in jail and either imprisoned or deported. So once again, why is the US special in this regard? Why is the US, one of the newest nations on the planet, on the hook for taking care of everyone else in the world who can show up at the border? The US gives more in foreign aid that all of the other nations combined and has been doing it for far longer without any hint of conquest or colonial ambitions. Our citizens have supported these efforts by being taxed substantially for their entire adult life.

But for some reason they are now expected to shoulder the burden both financially and locally. They are supposed to accept an assigned quota of "immigrants" and smile about it. Why? Because they're Americans. And everybody knows how terrible Americans are. They deserve to be squashed like bugs in their own nation. After all, they have no culture that they didn't "steal" from someone else. A culture of appropriation and slavery is how Americans should view themselves. Maybe then they can express the exact measure of guilt that will satisfy so many of these stupid leftist fantasies.

Bwahahahahahaha, as if that was even possible.

By the way, studying paid off. I was able to pass my test. If I seem less than coherent...........

I watched a documentary today that said although aliens most definitely created man, other aliens over time have used their own genetics to create the different racial characteristics for earth's different races. :) although all the aliens have been different they still stem from the same DNA as their originators and our creators, so we don't turn into abominations and this would explain why different aliens are also still humanoid.

Let's not become xenocist. Alien lives.matter too. :D

I believe making a racist comment is one of the lowest things a human can do. There is absolutely no excuse for racism. None,
