What's Happening???

Coffee is a kind of energy drink

But yeah, I only recall trying Red bull a couple of times. Never was a fan. As teens we used ephedra pills like teens these days drink energy drinks though, so all things considered i was probably just as gullible once

 

I've never had one. It sounds terrible. I want a drink with Xanax in it. And some alcohol.

 

Why take xanax to chill when there's pot?

 

Can't believe Lent starts next week.
Has it been a year already....

My Lenton Rose is in full bloom.

 

I'm walking un-aided today. Emma and I walked around the yard a little.

There are so many things I want to do but I'm taking it easy because my leg is still very sore when I first stand and start walking.

The day is beautiful. Scores of bees are on all the Dandelion flowers. That's a very encouraging sign.

 

I think i'm going to let some dandelions bloom before cutting the grass, neighbors be damned.

I think my next project will be converting part of my lawn into a botanical garden with lots of bee and butterfly friendly plants

 

I want to go to the countryside today and walk in a field. But there are no public fields. There should be public fields. Like parks but in the countryside and wilder, less tamed

 

We planted Dandelions in our organic beds right in the front yard last year. There are so many beneficial uses for the plant. Now they are back up plus they spread all over the yard. They are bigger and prettier than the wild ones growing in other yards.

Just make a little garden plot and plant some!

 

We're lucky to have some "wild" parks around here at the granite outcroppings (Baby Stone Mountains).

There's Panola Mountain State Park and Arabia Mountain | Arabia Mountain National Heritage Area. They're both close and very nice.

Arabia park reminds me of 40 acre rock, which is a couple hours away from here unfortunately. Looks like the same sort of flora, here's a pic

This may be an interesting afternoon. Going over to my friends house who died in November to check out his guitars. I'm going to pick one to play at a show later this month....kind of as a tribute to him. His wife loves the idea but I don't think she has heard music come from that room since he died so hopefully this will only bring happiness today. Maybe this isn't a great idea after all. We'll see.

There is a little convenience store on Hwy. 45 that has the best food. Gonna have to get some spicy chicken wings later tonight.
