I brought up Heroin to suggest not all issues surrounding bodily autonomy are the same. Isn't the crux of the pro-life argument that in an abortion, you are killing life?

 

I know a man who couldn't get his vasectomy reversed no matter how hard the doctors tried. There are plenty more out there just like him.

Your comparison doesn't make any sense because passing insanely strict abortion laws and telling crude and sexist jokes have nothing in common. Unless I'm missing something here.

I'm pointing out that if she were to make a similar joke about anyone else, she'd be harassed by the woke left. But since her joke was directed toward men, she gets a pass because it doesn't break the double standards of political correctness. Somehow you equated all this to abortion laws.

As for the "white male" aspect, all analyses of the Republican vote in general and Trump in particular show that it it especially strong among males.

I agree most men don't "rule" anything, but they have this cultural image of maleness that tells them they should, and that there must be something wrong with them if they're allowing women and minorities to get ahead. As for the "obvious tactic" of using male instead of men, seems to me this is an illusion borne of political correctness on the right and reflecting masculine castration fears.

English is an eclectic formulation that has more words than Spanish, German and french put together. I have no problem with "Mansplaining" going into the dictionary IF it is defined correctly. I'd like people to know in the next century just how petty and foolish people can be about the stupidest of shit. McJob has been in the dictionary for over a decade now. It was a fad term, so it's no wonder nobody uses it anymore.

Also, Spanish has a whole page of words they use for black.
