I grew up in a lot of different cities in Turkey. I dont have a home town. I've been living in Kocaeli for 11 years.
The road to addiction begins right where you stand . You just said " I can't give up alcohol permanently" which in my understanding at least points to creeping addiction. When you find life is a lot more enjoyable by having at least a sip every morning to start the day or maybe even a boiler maker you're well on your way. For readers unfamiliar a boiler maker is a glass of beer with a shot of whiskey in it. I agree with neonspectraltoast people claiming to like the taste of alcohol are full of ********** .
Have you heard of Kocaeli? It is the province just east of Istanbul. I live in its provincial capital, Izmit. İzmit - Wikipedia
I always find with spirits, I can knock them back pretty well without like being drunk, but beer... I dunno if it's certain chemicals or what but beer will dehydrate my brain quickly and fuck me up.
I like the taste of beer with alcohol in it. Beers without alcohol in it were not tasty in my experiences so far.
Have you tried getting a lot of exercise? It's a lot of work at first, but after you break through, you start getting a really good high from it. Slightly better for you in the long run than switching to GHB.
I really dislike the taste (and smell) of beer. Well....most alcohol. I do enjoy a nice gin and tonic, because it tastes kinda refreshing. If I drink anything else, I'm not drinking for the taste.
I like the taste of some beer Ain't lying And top shelf bourbons sometimes taste good. Sometimes. Depends on which one
No, not a liar. I believe that you believe you like the taste of alcohol. I just think perhaps you're deluding yourself.
