Jeeps have manual windows. Even newer ones can be had with manual windows. Seems like there is another car that has manual too...I'll ask the son.

 

My precious Zoro died late last night or early morning...and he didn't even show signs of doing really bad until after 4:30 or so yesterday. Had he lasted through the night, I had planned to call the vet today. dang...poor little fella...I just know he is running and playing with his litter mate that died just the other week (Penny Lane)...Zoro had the most beautiful fat fail, and he was a skinny baby. He was so sweet. :'(

@Meliai regarding manual roll up and down windows - the son says base model Jeep Wranglers and maybe some other base model mid-sized trucks. I agree with preferring manual (although I do have electric windows). Just in case of an accident or going into a body of water (which would be a 1 in a million chance I'd do this) you'd be stuck in an electric window car whereas with a manual roll down, I would at least have a chance.

 

Why don't cars have break-the-glass hammers inside?

I've seen enough guys lift the engine bay hood and just stare in there hoping a simplistic solution is at hand, what they're really looking for is a big ON/OFF switch that hopefully was just clicked off after a bump on the road. But they really don't have any idea themselves.

My truck is cool cause if the car senses anything that could potentially damage the engine, she switches to a mode where it used the utmost least power so you don't ruin the truck or components.. Not that I ever had a problem with my truck because Zorya is a good Gal and she's looked after.

I'm sure there's some snickering in the eastern province of Asmo. Dutch blood? How about just some good old fashioned Deutsche engineering?
