I was always pretty good in Go-Karts, I remember one time, the man started me half a lap behind my dad and uncle and cousins and I remember every lap I could see I was getting close, then I caught them. I remember I passed my cousin, then uncle, then went for dad and didn't see me and he cut across me and we both ended up THROUGH the tire wall. The man came and yelled at me big time but my dad told him no it wan't my fault it was his.

I knew I had some sort of semi-racing gift that day lol.

being good at iracing doesnt necessarily mean you are any good in a car though, a lot of the top people take advantages of steering input settings.
I don't do that because it takes away the feel and fun. so for instance, I'll use a H pattern shifter, most people use the paddle shifters behind the wheel.
i use fore feedback so I can feel the bumps, most people turn it down so that the bumps play no influence on your steering trying to correct.

its little things like that, that turn shit drivers into good sim racer.

I consider myself a driver. I don't know how to exploit glitches in the game and I do not want to know how. I wanna drive and feel what I'm meant to, not something watered down because I want to go faster. So when that turns into reality, I think I could be a better driver than some.

But all thats behind me now when I sold my VW, the truck isn't race car and I don't use it as one. I don't mind wizzing around mountain roads in her, but only do so when I want to clean the cobwebs out persay.

@rollingalong I've loved that song by Space Magnets since I first heard it - years ago. :) I can't understand half of the lyrics to any songs (but the Beatles) anyway...I wish I had that gift to understand them like it seems so many of y'all do. I MUST read the "cheat sheet" of lyrics, and then I never forget it, or rather, I always hear what I've read they are supposed to be from then on...and wonder how in the hell I thought it was ... whatever I thought. :p

I love her! Damnation I wish Wimbledon was showing on just ONE of the dang 60 channels I get, but not even a single channel is showing it. I don't even know how that is possible. :(

It looks like just ESPN is showing it - well whatever ESPN1 and ESPN2 are. I know that neither channel is found on "plain people tv"..

The men's finals and semi-finals will be great. dang I'm hanging my head in sorrow I can't watch it.

    That fiddle :D (3mins)
Plus that story telling. Simple effective lyrics. Just pour your heart and soul into it.

@Irminsul I haven't heard that...I really don't listen to much country, but that almost sounds more like the blues with a fiddle. I love her singing a capella there after the fiddle starts.

Actually I really get off on top notch singers that sing a capella in harmony and then each one alone, then blend, etc.

    mercy...yeah I like that.

    I think this sounds bluesy.

And also, I can sing it really well too :D I'm sure I fill in some of the words with my own words though haha. Of course, I put my own little twist on it.

I probably started singing it because I thought the slow guitar would be easier for me to play :p

My miss said if we could find a cheap fiddle, she'd be my fiddle player lol. So now we just need to buy our instruments.

Might get her an eBay job, $50 :D

I figure if I can get my banjo before camp trip, I'll get someone there to teach me. Nude, and learning the banjo.. cool :D

Mind you, we do live in Mittenwald, home of some of the finest violins on earth, but.. Too expensive for us. :p
