Life is alright. Can't say it's great, but can't say it's awful. Been reevaluating my life where I am now, and where I want to be. Having a lazy day Sunday after pulling an all nighter. How about you.

I think there's a lot more to nudism and naturist than trying to get a cheap kick or thrill that they might be seen. Cultural differences for sure, we aren't as hung up about it Europe, it's common to see nudists around, maybe not a daily occurance but they're out there. Everytime I go to das Externsteine which is 3 limestone rock pillars of ancient Germany, there's a small lake and creek off the side and everytime I'm there there's nudists swimming.

But that's not trying to get a kick that's just naturists, or maybe I haven't really distinguished the difference between nudist and naturist, but I know it's not anything perverse like some might think. For instance I've never seen a male nudist with an erection and I'd have thought if that's a kink or fetish then they'd be aroused and have an erection. But they don't so that's telling me a lot.

I started exploring this a couple of years ago at Externsteine camp with our naturist buddy folks and I found it a complete liberating experience with zero sexual connotations built around, other than what was only going on in my head. Dipping into that same lake my Pagan folks do on a daily basis winter or summer, it was like in a sense of bringing us back to our roots in a way, which I don't expect anybody to understand but that shit runs deep there. And it was interesting for me being a lesbian to be nude around other nude males yet I'd also never been so comfortable and secure at the same time. I'd always put my bottoms back on if I had to walk back to my camp and yeah drunks might give you a YEEEEOOOWWWW! But they're just seeing what they like.

So I wouldn't be knocking on any nudist types for what they do, it's definitely a lifestyle not for everyone, but there's no harm in it either and you mightn't understand the reasons they're doing it or why it means a lot to them.

 

I would worry about dudes being jealous of me and want to cause me harm....its a burden I carry proudly

 

And I think this site attracts folks of that lifestyle so it's really not any surprise to find nudists here and just do the number comparisons, there's still far more non nudists outweigh nudist members, just like it is out there in real life so I don't necessarily think they're lying.

There's some good folks out there that want nothing more than well being, you just gotta find the them.

Having worked in the Mental Health field, and living down south where bugs THRIVE ON HUMAN BLOOD AND SWEAT...my experiences with seeing people nude is very different than your's @Irminsul. When people go into a serious mental breakdown, you almost always know it's happening first because they start taking off their clothes. Why this is, I have no idea.

I'm serious. So...when I've seen people nude and getting nude, 911 is being called or has been called, and an ambulance is on the way.

I'm sure there are people that have "fun" inside homes, and there may be some naturist or nudist colonies within 100 miles of here (I think that is what they are called) - but again, with the heat and bugs here I just don't see being naked outside as a viable option, not for long...
