  1. Where'd you get that idea? And they're ALL liars. We're stuck with electing the liar that appeals to most viable voters.

It's not a matter of cheering for Trump, I'm just convinced that the democrats are playing a losing game. Trying to tie Gabbard to the Russians and Trump was hilarious. All because she humiliated one of the higher up cronies.

  2. Isn't that racist now? It's hard to keep up with all the butthurt these days.

Getting personal really makes your case though, it's impressive!

I also look forward to Trump having a second term, and I hope the RNC is able to find someone just like him after Trump has to leave office

The only "socialist" policies being promoted, are a single payer healthcare system and free university. And Elizabeth Warren has a plan for free daycare.
And free university and universal healthcare works just fine in many, many, many other nations. Nations that have a higher quality of life than America, I should add.

Trying to equate these policy proposals with Cuban or Venezeulan style socialism, or whatever you're trying to do, is really dishonest

I cant figure out if some of you are being deliberately dishonest or if you've just bought into the propaganda

I think you meant "taxpayer funded" instead of "free". So either the deficit goes up, taxes increase or both. But nothing is truly free when the government is involved.

  7. What's really dishonest is suggesting that anything is free. The costs are always buried in the "financing". I don't trust Warren and her math skills don't help matters. The US is far too large and has far too many people to be compared fairly to nations with 10% of the population or less.

    Also, I'm not accustomed to you getting personal with me like this. Calling me dishonest is insulting and unnecessary. Is this because I don't agree with you? Because that's the modus that is about to cost the democrats the election and give us another term for Trump.;

We have to be able to look at all sides of this without becoming intolerant of other people's views to the point that hurling insults is the only option left. Seriously, polarizing the forums is not going to drive traffic to the site.

  9. Then there's this. From a time when humor was in your face and didn't care about how you "feel" about it folks.

    I'm not getting personal
I said the argument you used was dishonest. Not you, your argument.
But I've heard it made by dozens if not hundreds of people, and it was dishonest when they made it too.

Equating programs that are successful in Europe, Australia, Canada, Japan, etc, with failed socialist dictatorships in Cuba, Venezeula, etc, isnt an honest argument or an even remotely valid point. It's a nonsensical piece of propaganda that has been used to discourage any sort of real and honest conversation in the US on how to improve our healthcare and education systems.

Absolutely right if they nominate another Washington Establishment Democrat.

I will continue to reiterate as many times as needed , the Washington Establishment is a duopoly with both sides of the isle included , elect one side we move the same direction, elect the other side we move the same direction, only beneficiaries are the 1%.

So in my view anyone thinking that an Establishment Democrat will change anything isn't thinking at all. Main street Democrats are fed up with Washington and their duplicitous ways. If the choice is between a Washington Establishment Democrat and Trump then Trump wins, the true left want real change and now understand better than ever it won't happen merely because we change faces in the White House, they want this mess up-ended and that's the only deal they're going to be happy with.

  15. I'm curious about how success is defined with these examples. For example, how much independence do they really have? Their defense budgets are not enough to actually protect themselves, they rely on the gross magnitude of military advancement that has US bases, equipment and troops scattered throughout their realm. I'm personally sick of the US being the world's guard dogs and I would like to see the US military reduced by 7/8ths overall.

But we are tied to treaties and deals that insist we run to the aid of any who feel threatened instead of letting them take care of themselves. The oceans would be a tangle of piracy and black marketing if not for allied involvement, largely facilitated by the US. A nation so horrible and racist that people are lining up to get into our concentration camps, where they are free to leave whenever they want.

The stories spewed by the entire media these days can't be quantified with logic anymore, so I do wonder how you differentiate which deliveries are "honest". I have to read dozens of accounts before I can feel even close to the truth. I studied two kinds of logic in college, electronic and philosophical. The first is ruthlessly efficient with virtually no gray areas. The second is the product of centuries of the trials and errors of humanity. The two are not particularly compatible and have not been much help in any analysis of truth, only results.

Taxes go up for those that can afford to pay those taxes, not the poor and middle class.

The United States military bases across the sea aren't there just to protect the nations they're based in, they're our front line of defense.

Would you prefer we wait until someone attacks Atlantic City, New Jersey before we do anything?

It's time the European dis-union and the eunuchs who run it step up and assemble their own defense forces.
It's easy to brag about your regions social programs , free health care and the like when you've dumped the cost of defense on the USA most of the time without even a thank you.

Good, there's something we agree on
And think of all the money we'll have to spend on education and healthcare and things that actually benefit our populace once we scale back defense :)

In terms of healthcare, i used to work in
healthcare so I understand fairly well how the US system works. And I've looked at different systems around the world in about as much depth as one can when just studying this sort of thing in casual interest. I've looked at cost per capita, outcomes for various conditions, wait times, etc. Also looked at various tax rates for countries with single payer systems, how they compare to ours, and how the comparison looks when factoring in average healthcare costs in the US, including premiums, deductibles, prescriptions, out of pocket costs for the uninsured, what percentage of our taxes already go to Medicare and Medicaid, etc. All measurable things, easily verifiable and can be cross checked with multiple sources

Maybe I'll be an uber dork and make a PowerPoint presentation one day :p
