i wonder if anyone out there buys live mice for their cat to catch

 

Not necessary, before my cat passed away he used to catch moles in the nearby woods.

He would eat half then leave the rest on the back porch for me to dispose of in the garbage bin.

 

oh, lovely. but i was imagining people who keep their cats inside.

 

Years ago, one of my cats brought a mouse in and let it go.

The other cats weren't interested in catching it.

 

I'm going to go to a Mennonite bakery today that has cinnamon rolls the size of your head!

My dumb ol' cat came home finally. He went straight to his food dish and meowed lol

The middle school softball team was announced yesterday afternoon and a 3 of the triplets made the team!

 

I had a hellish week

So glad it's Saturday

Today I'm gonna go rafting

 

I had that on my mind today. Gods, how I'd love to go again!

I've got to step it up, or probably really more like back it up.

Going to stay with my sick 12 year old grandson every day this past week, being gone for 12 hours each day, tells me that I've really got to step up my game before his little brother arrives mid-October.

I'm working on building my physical stamina starting with climbing those 19 steps to the apartment 4 or 5 times a day last week because Piper wanted to go out several times a day.

I'm going to be walking more and doing hills here at home. I've been lazy because it was hot and any other excuse like my legs hurt all the time. There's no time for that moaning shit. This baby is coming.

I didn't cook at all last week because I was tired and I wasn't prepared because the boy being sick all week was a bad surprise.

Now I know that I've got to shop and meal prep on the weekends and to teach hubby how to use the instant pot.

I've got to fit trips to Walmart for the pet supply hauls in there, too.

Then there's the new "business" that I'm determined to get off the ground and to keep up; so there will be sourcing trips and cleaning, researching, photographing, listing and packaging for shipping to add to the list,

So yeah, I need to back my age up by 10 or 20 years.

I'll do it because I have to do most of it and I want to do my resale business.

Any good vibes, thoughts, prayers gratefully accepted. Seriously.
