  1. It's too bad that Trump's childish name calling routine "works" on anybody. He's just a dumb lout. That's all I get out of any of it.

He's going to call anyone who runs a socialist
Even Joe Biden isnt immune to it, he was Obama's VP and despite Obama being a moderate, everyone who later ended up voting for Trump thought Obama was a socialist
Trump has the mentality of a middle school bully. It would be dumb to not vote for someone based on how badly he'll bully them. He'll bully anyone and the only people who are going to fall for it arent voting for anyone but Trump anyways
I find it disheartening to see perfectly sane, intelligent and reasonable people say things like "oh they're not a safe bet, Trump has a mean nickname for them" (paraphrasing).
If a majority of the country isnt smart enough to see through that and vote on policy then we probably deserve Trump anyways.

I really like Beto O'Rourke, but don't think he'll win. Joe Biden is getting less attractive by the hour and I don't want to think about what that means. Actually, yes I do... I think it means we're in for another 4 years of Donald Trump as President of the United States of America. When that happens I'm sure we will end up at war with Iran or China or something. At least it isn't North Korea right now...

Jake Tapper asks Beto O'Rourke: Is it racist to vote for Donald Trump in 2020? - CNN Video guy is brilliant

  4. What does everyone have against Bernie? It's so absurd to me. He's just a genuine person, truly thoughtful and compassionate, and a strong leader, a great example for everyone to follow. I couldn't say enough nice things about that man.

I'm not a huge fan of Beto, but I like how he lost his shit on the media following the two most recent mass shootings
"Members of the press, what the fuck?"
It's always nice to see a glimpse of a real person behind a polished political veneer

That's the problem. He is an average nice politician. He's not in favor of the 1% system overall and he's not a chosen one. Notice how Biden was assumed to be #1 and still is? When Obama was president all anyone did was say how nice Biden was. He never said much. Now that he talks people disagree with him on a lot of things. He's still the front runner. He's part of the new Democratic party that is going to take mild aspects of Sander's platform. Bernie is still somehow not the guy for the media. He's still very popular in a way Biden does not seem to be. A few others but Bernie too. He's not popular he's just next in line. The party has decided who the people select on behalf of them. The money needs to keep flowing either way.

Also apparently he's some sort of evil socialist who will remove any desire or ability for people to work or make money should they want to work .

  7. Just seems weird to me when people say they're tired of Trump's lies and politicians' lies in general, and then when the genuine article comes along, they drag him through the mud. Seems like people really just want more of the same.

I don't think that was very professional of him, but I really like his message overall. It seems to be very people driven and I feel like we're missing that right now. There isn't this feeling of "hope" or whatever from the current leadership.

Language suitable for the occasion. The President gets away with it, why shouldn't Beto?

He's led the entire Democratic party to the left, for one

All the ideas and policies that have been discussed in the debates this year are because of Sanders. Medicare for all, raising the minimum wage, overturning Citizens United, student loan forgiveness, free university, etc...these things were not on the radar of the Democratic party prior to 2016

I'd like to see Tulsi Gabbard debate Trump. She's my pick...and maybe Elizabeth Warren.

    Not a fan of Beto.
Personally I'm suspicious of men who have a compulsion to jump up on tables whenever there's one around. I'm still waiting for him to get punched in the nose for jumping up on somebody's hood.

Are you suggesting every other first world country in the world who has instituted these policies have fallen off a cliff?
