In Australia I have heard there is a lot of racism as well. I'm sure Chinese people do that. But what I have heard is that white people are also very racist to the aboriginal and Asian people. It's a two way street perhaps. I don't know I've never been there. Just things I've heard in media and even TV shows from there. It all implies a similar cultural tension to America in some ways in my opinion. Trump is a wealthy man. A man like that can be "innocent" but guilty. He can perhaps fight things in court long enough and pay a lawyer to have a terrible argument. Most people run out of money. Lawsuit's have been a common Trump tactic for years. He would get his feelings hurt or screw someone in business and then just sue them in court over it. We can't really prove 100% of the time that it's racism and not income. During that time period in America it was much easier for simple racism to disqualify black people from many things. Today Trump still express views people see as racist. A lot of what he says as straight white man with money that is now seen as racist would not be seen as that in the 1970's. There was a certain idea of things like women, American's employment skill set, and race relations that lead to natural separations. If those same cases were tried today who knows how things could have turned out differently. Easily the same but maybe not. He's a product of that time and that's why white people like him. Overall, I think it's an historical example of things we see today. He's not friendly to people who are not white. In the way his supporters claim fake news at anything outside of Fox news and his tweets I claim paid actors and disinformation regarding probably 70-80% of his "minority voter they show at rallies. Most of those sort of Americans just know he's not for them. Some Americans never got over the Civil Rights movement. They see most examples of "racism" to be people abusing that time period. Prior to that it was a very different place socially and economically for white Christian people. The economic factors ignore so much of the Republican party and Trump do today. That somehow does not matter since his voter's romanticized view of the past only sees the money and social order white middle class people had. Under this view many of them really just don't want to have to live with or deal with people who are not white. It's not American. It's not like every Trump voter is a pure racist. But his voters don't address serious issues. The kind of people I mention are are the kind who will still say Obama was the worst president ever and he is somehow the reason for all the racism now. He honestly made a few comments max if any that were really "pro black". Like he commented in favor of black people getting empowered or how a white cop should have considered the situation more when dealing with a black suspect. This was seen as him making race relations an issue to them I guess. They don't like Democrats but something abbot a black president mentioning race a bit more upset them. He was not perfect but it's so odd to me now how the same Trump voter really does not care when it's their race getting the comments. Trump has made many more comments seen as pro-white rights by many people. What is racism really? It's what we as a culture define as unfair based on how you are born. Trump and some white people want to change that. He does not have 100% white voters. Among anyone who is not white does not like agent Orange. The majority the American population is still white. So he has that. It's getting close to the Mexicans passing us gringos and it scares the Trump voter. "Their" country is gone. English lessons can be cheap, and many of the learn it. They are nice people escaping something. The Trump voter will put them in a camp or hare them since they are Muslim. It's two perspectives on the same person. It's not just my opinion of someone who does not like his political party. It's a legitimate issue others in the world are seeing.
At least unfocusedanakin did what you should have done. You are the one that made the assertion Trump was sued for racism. Why was it such an ordeal to provide a link to something referring to what you were talking about?
You just don't get it. Trump is a racist, because, Trump is a racist. It's so simple. And if you don't understand that, you MUST be a racist too. And if you question Trump's racism, then you MUST be a racist too. And God help you if you have the nerve to ask for proof of Trump's racism, because, well, only racists do that, so you MUST be a racist. The real point to this is that when the argument can't possibly be countered with facts or logic, just reach into the tool box and fetch the hammer. After all, the race card has served Americans so well for decades, instantly shutting down cowards on both sides of the aisle. It doesn't tax the discussion with difficult concepts or force anyone to look at the bigger picture (unless, YOU are the one being tarred with this hateful label). Since I'm a confirmed honkey, I'm naturally assumed to be a natural-born racist, so my opinion on the matter is no better than Trump's. So, have a nice day, RACIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do the actual court papers say that though?. The doorman said, this or that, because that would be dead easy to prove, just get a black guy to go undercover with a microphone

Because you are the one that made the statement in the first place. Meliai just responded in a grown up way, why cant you? All you had to do is put in that DOJ link in the first place
'should have done' lol Nice try. But no, people are not obliged to do such stuff to back up such a statement with sources at all. By the same logic you 'should have' looked it up yourself.
Yeah, thats pretty standard, make a statement, back it up by copying and pasting something that corroborates it, and /or post a link. Especially if one wants third party readers to take them seriously
It helps, but is not needed on an informal discussion forum. If the forummer who makes the statement didn't got the info from the internet in the first place they have to make a seperate effort to find a good source there just to cater to their convo partner. This is of course nice and helpful but its not a given that they should do so at all. You put it like it is because you rather have MeAgain look it up for you. You try to pressure and obligate people on here like that a lot. It's the same when you put it like I should know very specific stuff happening in the EU (what was it last time? Cheap insolation foam from China? Brought up by you out of the blue) or even have the solution... just because I'm in the EU. It's a common tactic but no, people are not lesser debaters or convo partners on here by not acting upon those wishes.
I dont think a source is needed for something easily found on the first page of a google search. I only ask for sources if I cant find anything after searching
I purposely don't include links to many of the things I post here. It's interesting to see who checks up on what is presented as fact. I almost always double check what others post at this site by doing my own research, I always do that on Facebook. It takes a little more effort than believing everything you see, but is very instructive. I encourage everyone to do their own research.
Crowder is talented and fun to watch. He's respectful while exposing dumb ideas with no basis. He does this on all sorts of topics. But the people who are honest and/or smart enough to actually change their opinions are few and far between. Most stick to their story adamantly despite heaps of evidence to the contrary. That seems to be the main entertainment value of these "change my mind" videos. But on another level they serve to demonstrate a serious lack of respect for truth in segments of the population. And relatedly, that emotion plays a larger role in decision making than does logic and reason with many folks. I'll throw in that a lot of people form their opinions (which they typically consider 'fact') based on the media they consume. When the media presenters slant and opine, listeners tend to adopt the same take and perspective. I'm guessing that probably happens without the consumer of the media realizing and acknowledging it's happening.
I think he means he fact checks things people post on facebook, not that he uses facebook as a fact checking resource
