Yeah I've heard the same thing about Austin too. And where I live now is experiencing the same thing, where the population growth is outpacing any road and infrastructure improvements by about 10 to 15 years, so that would be a con

But the guns in church...I dunno, I think that's enough to cancel out the bad traffic

The cool thing about Asheville is we could buy land for a decent price in the mountains outside of Asheville and still have an easy commute into town. And then I could have the best of both worlds, a tranquil peace of property in a rural area and easy access to a really fun, quirky city

Asheville might be my favorite American city, so far! Nashville is fun, but I can't imagine living there...

I was wrecked when I was in Asheville so other than the post office I was just at the hotel / golf course resort. Met a couple in the bar, they said it would be good if we had a few days there. I got the feeling it was a pretty open kind of town from research we did. But. Too wrecked.

Lots of people tend to compare Austin to Portland. I've lived in one, never been to the other.

Taking a look at pictures of Austin, the cities don't seem resemble each other at all. I guess it's because both cities have the same exact motto: "Keep (austin/portland) weird."
    Go figure....

There is a farming town outside of Portland called Boring, OR.

Their motto is "Keep Boring boring"

    Our motto is

    Adventszauber unterm Karwendel
    Advent magic under the Karwendel

The Karwendel is the mountain ranges from Austria that we live on.

  11. I've been to Nashville twice.

    It sucks.

    Check out Memphis.

Oh ok. I won't go then.

Not really, lol. I'm still going. I can't see it being too boring probably lots of flashing lights and some music pubs at night. Will be fun for us I feel.

  13. Yeah, I mean, probably. I was there without a dime in my pocket.

    Memphis is still better though.

I'm so tired; sitting here with my hair soaking wet after a shower, clothes in the dryer that won't get folded tonight, and I haven't eaten dinner yet. I wouldn't eat but I have to eat something to take my medication.

So tired and knowing there aren't enough hours to get in enough sleep before tomorrow.

No but I've had two other same episodes easier this year. I can take them for weeks and then just one day I'll have a reaction.

I burst into a sweat and went and laid in bed where I am now. My legs are really itchy but im getting colder and better I think. Just in shock.

  19. You should probably stop taking those meds.

My sister had a falling out with our mother, now she won’t even talk to my folks anymore. Zero contact. It’s really sad. But I can see why she did it. Mother can be a control freak, and make a lot of fake accusations. Sadly, her kids will probably never see their grandparents again until they’re much older. She and I don’t talk much. She isn’t very responsive to my texts. I think I might be semi-blacklisted from her by association. Hopefully she and I can hang out again someday, and I can remain neutral in her war with my folks.
