Donald Duck accusing Fox News is Professional Wrestling smack talk. He's haggle with the mass media, because he knows damned well the only thing the assholes care about is the money. If he threatens to cut into their bottom line, they are more likely to say what he wants, and he's a fucking billionaire and the president, and can give them hell in court. He cut another major mass media outlet a deal on their rent, but The Duck cannot afford to buy off Fox News and they will gouge him on price if they can.
The Justice Department, under Barr who supports Trump and has been shielding him since he was appointed AG, couldn't find anything illegal to charge Comey. And if he could've, he would've. He violated a policy, that's it. I would agree Comey made some serious mistakes...but he never broke a law. Let's remember Trump accused him of breaking the law based on a false FOX news story.
From the very article you linked; "Because Comey shamefully leaked information to the press — in blatant violation of FBI policies— the Nation was forced to endure the baseless politically motivated, two-year witch hunt," said press secretary Stephanie Grisham. "Comey disgraced himself and his office to further a personal political agenda, and this report further confirms that fact. A spokesman for Attorney General Bill Barr declined to comment on the report. The report said Comey’s decision to leak the contents of one of the memos to the New York Times through a friend, Columbia Law Professor Daniel Richman, violated his employment agreement with the FBI and ran afoul of the law enforcement agency’s policy requiring prepublication review of disclosures of information about FBI work" Funny how they leave the important stuff for the end of the article because they think most wont read that far
Seems to me that "witch hunt" turned up quite a few witches--13 indictments at last count. Speaking of witches, Stephanie Grisham succeeded Sarah Huckabee Sanders as Trump's press secretary--like her predecessor, dishonest as the day is long. And you're serving her up to us as somebody whose opinion should carry weight? Your spin doctoring gets lamer with every post. Are you auditioning for the next press secretary opening?
What I say once, twice, three times is true! Making 90% of all politics half-mental head trips, which is Hollywood's specialty. Build it and they will come, repeat it often enough, and they will build it.
I see you are still propagating that lie No indictments on any US citizens that actually were to do with interference in the election
Lets talk about these Russians How exactly does one identify someone sitting at a computer using aliases on the other side of the world with such stunning details. Their full names (assuming they actually exist) and all appear to be military personnel working at the Kremlins old cryptography site. Convieniently of course, no chance they will ever be extradited. Doubt they will even be seen by the public of any country. Did Mueller just copy and paste some names from some Russian military unit, think meh that will do, they are never going to be interviewed anyway. Can anyone find any credible information as to how Mueller et al are so sure the Russians named were the exactly people sitting behind the computer. I can only find conspiracy type sites
I don't know who you think didn't read the entire article, I did. The quote you site is from the president's office, what did you think they'd say? What it comes down to is that Trump asked Comey to stop the investigation of Flynn, who was convicted by the way, and who was directed by Jared Kushner to contact foreign governments, he asked for Comey's loyalty, and asked Comey to end the FBI investigation of Russian interference in the election. The Inspector General said Comey should have gone through "proper" channels to report all this stuff. He should have gotten permission from the president....who was under investigation himself. Trump had fired Comey for not ending the investigation and not pledging his loyalty to Trump, not the country: The IG's position is that if you are a member of the FBI, and you are fired by the president for an investigation of members of his cabinet, and you legally release memos supporting this fact because the information they contain is being suppressed by the president; you should just keep quiet. Your duty is to FBI protocol and the president...not the country. No whistle blowers allowed. Anytime corruption is suspected or found...just shut up. And remember the only reason Trump hasn't been indicted for obstruction of justice is because he's above the law. I would think, VG, this would upset you immensely.
Westerhout resigns. Trump's personal assistant Madeleine Westerhout abruptly resigns By Arden Farhi Updated on: August 30, 2019 / 10:12 AM / CBS News Trump's personal assistant Madeleine Westerhout abruptly resigns
Yes, at one point, in a thread that seems to have been taken down, he gave us a lengthy list of Trump's wonderful achievements--provided of course by Whiitehouse.gov. .
Trump eventually turns on everyone, and they turn on him, including those who used to defend him. Even his beloved Fox & Friends got rid of him at the 30-minute mark during his non-stop rant. Fox personalities have rebuffed Trump and have said that they don't work for him after Trump claimed that they should be working for him but don't anymore. Everyone will eventually turn on Trump. Even Steve Doocy. Windsor Mann August 14, 2019 Everyone will eventually turn on Trump. Even Steve Doocy. excerpt: "On his wife's birthday last year, Trump called Fox & Friends and rambled for so long that the hosts didn't know how to get rid of him. After waiting patiently for 30 minutes, Brian Kilmeade politely informed the unhinged man on the other line that he probably had "a billion things" to do that day, his being president and all."
When Trump had his officials unveil the new U.S. Space Command flag at his press gathering, it was surprising that the feet of the bird in the emblem weren't clutching U.S. money and golf clubs like they were at one of his previous gatherings.
As you state, the more important aspects related to Trump trying to stifle the investigation were ignored by the IG report in favor of solely trying to make Comey look bad. How Trump’s Justice Department Screwed James Comey The inspector general’s report strains mightily—and unconvincingly—to condemn the former FBI director for his memos about the president. By Marcy Wheeler August 30, 2019 How Trump’s Justice Department Screwed James Comey excerpt: "After Trump called Comey directly about an intelligence investigation on March 9, 2017, Comey called then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions immediately, “to keep the Attorney General in the chain of command between [Comey] and the President.” The last memo records Comey reviewing again the proper channels for the president to intervene in investigations; the report’s discussion of it notes that Comey’s chief of staff shared the details in real time with the proper chain of command. Is this what constitutes official business? This is what the inspect general’s report would have you believe: that the president asking Comey to do things that break the FBI’s rules is part of the FBI director’s job—and hence, Comey is at fault for airing that official business to his associates and ultimately the press. The report treats a memo recording the president demanding that he “‘lift the cloud’ created by the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election” as official business, implying that Comey should have done what the president asked of him. This report could have been a review of why the Justice Department’s chain of command never found a way to stop Trump’s repeated efforts to influence investigations in ways that violated Justice Department rules and guidelines. The report’s revelation that someone handed over a full copy of those memos under whistleblower protection suggests it probably should have. Of course, that report could only have reviewed the failures of the attorney general and his deputies in the Russia investigation, when in fact the violations were caused by the president—someone the inspector general has no jurisdiction over. Instead, after significant public pressure from the president and reportedly private pressure from his lackey Attorney General William Barr, the report instead faults Comey for trying to do something about it."

The Pentagon is always careful only to release twenty year old technology, so the NSA can monitor if you so much as fart. They even got Sony to instal cameras for them in their TV sets, that only they knew about. If the Pentagon says a black bird is white, the courts will only believe them if someone doesn't offer them more money. However, Donald Duck is going for the courts and wants to declare martial law so bad, he could become the first commander-in-chief killed by his own troops. Most people have no clue how the semi-conducting industry works, and assume they know everything about the fucking internet. Forget all the fucking bullshit about free enterprise, this is national security, and the Pentagon has at least a twenty year lead on the rest of the world in roughly 80% of all the technology. They've only spent half the national budget on defense for close to 80 years to achieve technological superiority that is so great Putin threatened nuclear war. They dole it out to the peasants on a regular basis, and would kill everyone at Intel if they ever tried to do business differently. The Great Googlie Mooglies left Google in a huff, once it became impossible to deny Google was working for the Pentagon all along. Over a trillion dollars was invested in AI research over the last year or so alone, because its the new Manhattan Project, about to upset the balance of power. Donald Duck is only allowed to live, so long as he doesn't get anywhere. The Pentagon doesn't really want to kill him, because it would cause a civil fucking war among their own ranks if anyone found out, but the idea they all think Drafting Dodging Donald Duck is our savior is absurd. Even most die-hard fascists I know recognize the asshole for the slimy used car salesmen he was born to be. The military tends to have different standards for their fascists, than civilians. The movie "A Few Good Men" describes the military mentality. What it doesn't say at the end of the movie, is that the two young recruits the lawyer bullied into confessing, where killed by a sniper a year after being dishonorably discharged for telling the truth. The idea of a military code of honor, only applies to the victor. Half of any good propaganda, is just omitting such illuminating facts. To the military, confession is only good for the soul, if it makes you more vicious.
