If only it were that simple Tumbling.
Problem is that we have a Conservative government under Boris Johnston who are desperate to leave the EU.
This so as to implement the democratic vote of 17.4 Million majority of people who voted to leave following that DEMOCRATIC vote to do just that.
Problem is we have a rotten rag bag of parties such as Labour and Liberal etc. who all combined are Remoaners and want to block us leaving the EU by hook or by crook.

Unfortunately the vast majority of the 650 MPs in the houses of parliament is standing in the way of us leaving the EU.
If it where up to me, your way would be my way, but at least for the moment we are being held in this EU prison by the warders.
The Lunatics have taken over the asylum.
    Bulby is one of them.

The guy is a bully fanatic who will just try and ask question after question after shite question.
I tried answering in the past, but I would get more sense back talking to a chimpanzee.
    So I gave up.
    Be careful VG.
If you are not careful he will just play you like a fine fiddle!

That's the biggest problem of all - the scumbag 'nasty party'. Now that they are tearing themselves to pieces, come the General election sometime this side of Xmas, we'll have Jeremy as Prime Minister nationalising all that which that evil bitch Thatcher privatised and rebuild our economy which the scumbags in the 'nasty party' ruined.

The latest opinion polls say otherwise Vlad.
And they show that if Boris does a pact with The Brexit Party, then that would be your lot fucked for good.
    So there!

Yes, well we all know about opinion polls don't we ??? - just prior to the last General Election they said that evil witch May would be a 'shoe in' with a working majority, we all know what happened to that opinion don't we ??? and with the dissident ex 'nasty party' members, plus the limp dems and the SNP, with the 'Greens' all working in collaberation to defeat the scumbags in the 'nasty party' its likely Jeremy will be getting the keys very soon.

Margaret Thatcher, part of the Speech to the College of Europe, Bruges. September 1988

"This is no arid chronicle of obscure facts from the dust-filled libraries of history.

It is the record of nearly two thousand years of British involvement in Europe, cooperation with Europe and contribution to Europe, contribution which today is as valid and as strong as ever.

Yes, we have looked also to wider horizons—as have others—and thank goodness for that, because Europe never would have prospered and never will prosper as a narrow-minded, inward-looking club.

The European Community belongs to all its members.

It must reflect the traditions and aspirations of all its members.

And let me be quite clear.

Britain does not dream of some cosy, isolated existence on the fringes of the European Community. Our destiny is in Europe, as part of the Community.

That is not to say that our future lies only in Europe, but nor does that of France or Spain or, indeed, of any other member.

The Community is not an end in itself.

Nor is it an institutional device to be constantly modified according to the dictates of some abstract intellectual concept

Nor must it be ossified by endless regulation"

Never will prosper as a narrow minded inward looking club ;)

    She was so awesome

Balbus? CNN? Neither of those were relevant to my post. You usually respond coherently, but this reads like a stream of consciousness.

Sorry, CNBC, not CNN, but its still obvious what you did there since theres no link to to the UNCTAD report in the CNBC article you linked

And a link to the wikipedia brevit divorce page....seriously?

First half of my post was directed at Balbus, hence the "See Balbus"

Second half was directed at you, hence the - Lode, colon

But really, think about that post you made - maybe, kind of, sort of, no brexit deal may cost them 16 billion when volume us 637 billion....so?

I have asked Balbus, he didnt answer. And I will ask you now. Tell us what you understand a hard brexit to be

They leave the EU without rules on trade agreements and revert back to WTO rules, they would have to renegotiate trade deals with non-EU countries who they were formerly trading with as member states, and British citizens living in EU countries would have to apply for citizenship.

Hard-Brexit means the UK wouldn't have planning in place for trade, travel, immigration, and law before they take a very consequential action.

Why do you assume those WTO rules are worse? Because the media keeps using the example of cars? 10% tariff minus 20% sales tax is actually 10% cheaper.
May already set out a temporary WTO schedule

The EU defaults to the WTO rules with non-EU countries they dont have trade agreements with

So? If you wanted to go live in France, you'd have to apply for visa/residency/citizenship

So a Hard Brexit means they "wouldnt have planning in place".....therefore if they already have planning in place does that mean a Hard Brexit is imaginary?
Trade- they get to renegotiate better deals, especially with dodgy EU countries, travel - not a whole lot of difference, immigration - kind of the whole point from half those leave voters and law - things like food regulations, they will just adopt the old controls until its worked out

None of its all that big a deal.

I hear they are also implementing a plan for Y2K as well

They don't have a plan in place, it's been three years it appears they're not leaving on their third deadline. Perhaps Brexit is imaginary.

Nothings a big deal if you're a nihilist about it.

Joe Hildebrand: Why Boris Johnson’s ‘humiliating defeat’ is anything but

Excerpt - "In a world where all the smart people keep getting it wrong, sometimes it takes an idiot to get it right. And this is where I come in.

I am far from an expert in the ancient art of British politics, but for the life of me I cannot see a scenario in which Johnson’s position isn’t manifestly stronger after his supposed “humiliating defeat”.

Indeed, it is hard not to suspect that Boris planned the whole thing himself."
