What's Happening???

Hard to believe but we now have seven confirmed cases of EEE (Eastern equine encephalitis) in Massachusetts, including a 5-year-old girl from Sudbury who is listed in critical condition.

It’s rare but If you happen to be stung by a mosquito carrying the disease you’re basically fucked.

Here are the towns scheduled for spraying

My best friends brother got West Nile from a mosquito.
He was in the ICU for 2 weeks.
Then stayed in the hospital for 3 weeks after that.
Then had to get speech therapy
Then had to learn how to walk again.

It's been over a year and he's still not himself

 

Is it hard to replace headlight bulbs on a car?

 

No, the only thing to be aware of is making sure the glass casing doesn't fall and break when you pop it off.

 

when doing so.. do not touch the glass of the bulb. only the metal end.

I went out for korean tonight and tried something new and ended up ordering the most midwestern korean dish imaginable..literally just a roast and potatoes stuck into a bland broth with a few noodles thrown in. I'm so disappointed, I was craving that spicy korean flavah flave.

I'm going to have to dump some sriracha in my leftovers

Once West Nile virus was introduced into the United states it quickly spread to every state in the union.


Fortunately the 5 year old girl who contracted EEE is now out of the IC unit, but she still has a long way to go including physical therapy, occupational therapy,
speech therapy, and is now participating in pet therapy.
