That's the point I was making. Its seems there is one rule for women and another rule for men , when we are suppose to be all equal .If I had rubbed up against another woman whilst drunk it would be sexual assault . Because its happened to me I am suppose to "Man up" .Even though nobody has come out and said that it seems that is what is expected.

 

I think the action you took at the time was appropriate, especially in front of your wife. I, personally, wouldn’t have pushed her away. I think verbally addressing the issue was enough. And if she continued, then yeah. go and address the issue with management or bouncers, etc.
Things get ugly and out of control in nightclubs really quick.
And you’re right, guys get judged differently when it comes to this shit. Good thing your wife was there.

I didn't push her away as such it was more of me levering myself off her as she was stuck to me like a limpet . Obviously my actions sent her backwards a little.
What amuses me a little , this has now happened to me 3 times in as many years and I am in my 50s and married.

It rarely happened when I was in my 20s, single and in my prime .

If I was single I may have taken a slightly different view but I am married and dancing with my wife ( who had her arms around me) to a slow number and then get grabbed by another woman and a complete stranger at that .
