Trump survives and prospers because there are so many people who are attracted to crime boss types: leaders who are uninhibited by moral constraints in pursing their objectives. The followers derive a vicarious sense of power and satisfaction from identifying with a personification of unbridled id. That attitude is hard to fight, but fight it we must, because it is pure evil and will do our civilization in if we give it free reign.

"At another point in the call, Trump appeared to ask Zelenskiy about the debunked "CrowdStrike" conspiracy regarding the hack of the Democratic National Committee's emails. That theory turns the focus away from Russia's culpability — which former special counsel Robert Mueller said was the case in his extensive report — and instead place some doubt into whether Russia was the culprit.

Notably, White House adviser Stephen Miller was taken to task by Chris Wallace, host of Fox News Sunday. In stark contrast to the way Trump loyalists are usually treated by Wallace’s network, the Fox News Sunday host wouldn’t let Miller get away with the deflections he tried to use to twist Trump’s Ukraine scandal in one about Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.

Is U.S. Attorney General William Barr going to publicly disclose to Congress and the general public transcripts, or at least updates, of his Trump-directed upcoming phone calls with Ukraine about Biden?

 

The only thing that the Senate is going to interpret is that within the course of his conversation with the Ukrainian president, Trump naturally discussed the history of his opponent.

the discussing of Biden seems way out in left field to me. how does that possibly come up when you're discussing matters of foreign policy? but the senate will certainly not impeach. I wonder what they will come up with as to why not.

 

If the consultations with Ukraine are, as Trump and Giuliania claim, a benevolent endeavor to investigate corruption for the good of the American public, Barr should be obligated to be transparent and give everyone timely updates on the investigation that Trump directed him to conduct. Why be secretive about it.

 

I want the records of Trump & Putin phone calls too. I understand they are locked up in some top secret server to keep Congress and the American people in the dark.

 

Kamala Harris asked him about this matter and he refused to answer back in May. Now she's pissed and wants him back under oath in the Senate chamber. She's a former prosecutor and attorney general and will ream him real good this time.

 

It was so secret that Barr claims he didn't even know that Trump was going to have him make calls to Ukraine.

Aspects of investigations such as the one by Mueller are kept secret. But such investigations are conducted under the proper channels of the government, and Congress and the public know that they are being conducted.

 

Just hope he don t get anther TERM!!! I d vote for anyone over him!!!

 

Now Giulliani is saying Barr knew about the Ukraine outreach. They are stumbling all over themselves.

 

Bill Clinton was impeached for far less.

 

Scum floats to the top, and rocket scientists they are not. The more the American people treat wealth as somehow above the law, the more often complete idiots with money will attempt to take over the entire country. Hitler was not a genius, merely a decent bureaucrat and second rate artist.

 

Its a retroactive grandfather clause, which is only illegal if you don't already know the judge.

 

I asked one of my Trump supporting friends why the Trumpsters are reviving the Hillary email probe. He said, get this, because Hillary is going to jump into the presidential race at the last minute! I wouldn't be surprised to see the Senate Republicans reopen the Whitewater hearings.

He may have found his excuse to declare martial law, and deflect attention to the fact Hillary is secretly a spy for the Chinese, and knows what they keep out in area 51. Congress has obviously been subverted by the commies!
