Now Trump is calling for the arrest of Adam Schif for treason! That's pretty extreme, and gives us a preview of what a second term of Trump would be like. Trump suggests intel chairman should be arrested for 'treason'
Trump seems to have the idea that criticism of his royal person should be actionable as a serious crime. He seems to have treason mixed up with Lèse-majesté ("to do wrong to majesty")-- an offense against the dignity of the crown. That puts critics of the king in prison in Thailand, but in this country the Constitution so far prevents it from happening here. And he's predicting (calling for?)civil war if he's impeached. This warrants sober reflection. Is this America?

 

He was elected by a clear underwhelming vote of confidence from the majority, and to oppose the will of the majority is treason by definition!

 

But it was never a majority of the people. Hillary got that. And the polls (except occasionally for Rasmussen, the Fox of polling) have shown consistently that he has never had majority support throughout his presidency--unique for a President in recent times--and that, in fact, a majority of the people disapprove of his presidency.

Technicalities, he's our de facto leader elected by the mindless mob! Next you'll be complaining the entire system is gerrymandered! Majority rule decides who gets to call the government democratic, while they tend to take it personal if you call them a mindless mob.

 

Trump now seems to be backing the Crowdstrike conspiracy theory, which seems to be the 2020 equivolent of Pizzagate. The theory gets the Russians off the hook in interfering with our elections, and Hillary and her secret emails (supposedly now in the Ukraine) back on. Trump’s mention of ‘Crowdstrike’ and Ukraine, explained Next they'll be commissioning the new Space Force to find the emails on Mars!

He's our commander in chief, and there must surely be patriots in the pentagon willing to do whatever it takes to protect our glorious country. The NRA is for low hanging fruit.
