Matrix in particular though, the sequels, just would have taken a few rewrites of the script to make them great movies. They had everything else, great cast, good looking CGI
The one they themselves use? I'm not sure. But it looks like the setting faithfully follows the traditional one with stuff like vehicles, buildings etc. And the protagonist has some kind of droid! :-D (looks different than an R2 or BB8) One thing that I'm sure of is that it connects better to the classical movies and story than the Force unleashed (the one you played, and I as well tried only recently). It's set in the exact same period though: after Revenge of the Sith and the execution of order 66. Saw Guerera is also in it (the black dude we saw in Rogue one). I probably get this in the first month of release (november, yay!)
Ugh, when is the gaddamn movie coming out, feels like forever I know when it comes out, just, you know, hanging
Just another 75 Days, 21 Hours, 30 Minutes How Many Days Until Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise Of Skywalker?
I'm rewatching all the movies chronologically already (for the first time btw. Just got Solo) , but am doing so mainly in anticipation of Fallen order, which will be released before episode 9; 15 november I think the tv show The Mandalorian starts in november as well? Good times! (although not sure i can see that right away. I did notice the Disney app on ps4 but yeah, not gonna pay for another streaming service.
Ugh, the prequels....I just cant, Attack of the Clones especially, I cant ....i'd rather get waterboarded by the CIA for 2 1/2 hours, that would be less excrutiating I will watch 4,5,6,7,8 again though before 9
Yeah, I understand how certain aspects can ruin it for other fans, but I found them again to be pretty good and satisfactory. The annoying or unenjoyable aspects don't ruin it for me at all. They are easily overlooked. Unlike in episode 7 and 8, in my case at least. That's because I don't dig ANYTHING about Kylo Ren and most of the story revolves around him. So if you have the same with adolescent Anakin i can kinda relate. To me Anakin was just like that though, easy to accept. As said, i find how he's portrayed actually pretty satisfactory. Gonna watch episode 3 tomorrow evening and Solo monday evening!
What made the prequels so terrible is the damned CGI. I think if they had used puppets there would have been far fewer complaints.
Wasn't talking about Solo myself just to be clear! I'm gonna see it for the second time monday, but it kind of feels as the first as the first time was in 3d which didn't add shit! Talk about annoying So I can properly judge it after monday Didn't like everything about it in a longshot, if i recall right many lousy plottwists Next after Solo is of course Rogue one and then episode 4. Personally love how Rogue One ends (with the beginning of 4) I'm watching them on blu-ray. Best version available atm, the CGI is not bothering me at all
It doesn't look cartoonish. Perhaps they brushed it up a little in this version as I noticed others complaining about the CGI too and I just think hmm I don't see it. Sure, i see its not the latest cgi, and also the difference with the original props and special effects (which I also appreciate slightly more than just a bunch of 3d digital effects), but no, still far from bad and bothersome. I did notice that after watching the original trilogy on blu-ray and then some time later on dvd that there's really quite the improvement in the blu-ray ones. Its much more pleasant to watch the classic trilogy on an HD tv from a blu-ray disk than from a dvd I found. So maybe that also counts for the prequel trilogy.
