A second intelligence official is considering whether to file a whistleblower complaint and testify before Congress about their concerns over Trump's dealings with Ukraine, House Democrats have issued a subpoena to the White House for documents related to the Ukraine incident and now Mike Pence is being investigated for his involvement in the scandal. Stay tuned folks, this isn't going to blow over!

After this, you can bet congress will strengthen the whistleblower laws. There is no advantage whatsoever in anyone turning evidence against the man, and every reason for him to warn them to stay out of it, and that he will pursue them. Libertarians are reliable for one thing only, shooting themselves in the foot, by destroying our government and laws, but even they have to finally recognize nobody gives a shit about their rhetoric except their own people. If they want a republican party, much less one of their own, they will either learn how to play ball or be destroyed.

Your claim to have shaken hands with Stormin' Norman or who you knew in high school has no bearing whatsoever on what I might know about the intel services- I can only wonder how anyone could think it does. I do find it curious that you have "two fathers" .... I know we live in an interesting age in biology, but I still find that one surprising .... even though, as an adoptee, I could make a similar claim. I find your logic so deficient that I feel little desire to follow your arguments.

But Biden likely too clever to be a criminal. He's probably managed to stay within the bounds of the law. But he is still a sleazebag.

Why do people resort to "Yeah, but..." arguments? Yeah, but Hillary...Yeah, but Biden... They are all fucking assholes. They may not be traitorous by the legal definition of the term, but by not representing the best interests of their countrymen they are guilty of a type of 'moral treason.'

Some people are shocked that only about 50% of eligible voters actually make it the voting booth on election day. I'm shocked that anyone turns out.

Dodge the bullet? He needs to be guilty of it first. This new accusation was dead on arrival.

  9. I can't get over how many people still seem to think that a president can be impeached "because I don't like him". And now we have this rookie moron suggesting clever ways to have all of Trump's cabinet arrested? For what? The game they are playing is SO obvious as is their banking on republicans taking it on the chin, as usual. It's weird to see Romney chime in after being so worthless after the 2012 swan dive he took.

I have to wonder though, with democrats and leftists salivating at the thinnest sliver of potential grief they can dig up for Trump, aren't they just making it easier for him to bait them into traps? It seems like exactly what's happening. Progress has taken a back seat to partisan infighting. Which itself is not so weird. But now they're activating voters to join the "fight" (and a LOT of them are interpreting it AS an actual fight).

You don't get it, money and guns are what power the entire system, and Donald Duck and his crew are threatening to topple the entire house of cards. You can talk about legalities all you want, but he is the one threatening to ignore the entire legal system. If he gets away with ignoring the judicial branch, it will mean civil war. Either congress and judicial branch can control the president, or he becomes de facto dictator. They will tolerate an almost endless amount of corruption, but that is enough to ruin the country.

Libertarians cannot install a fucking dictator in office and totally ignore the rule of law and national security issues. Their support is dwindling by the day and, if push comes shove, the Pentagon is not behind them. Not even Fox News has any sympathy for the bastards.

So, in your opinion, it's alright to trade tax payer missiles to a foreign government that needs our help from Putin's invasion, or from a Communist nation that we are in a trade war with, for detrimental information on political rivals in order to help Trump get reelected?

    Missiles for dirt.

Didn't Reagan illegally trade weapons (via Col. Oliver North) for prisoners ???

  14. I've been hearing this since he took office. What I see instead is how readily he is curtailed by all of the efforts of the democrats to ensure he stays within a razor's edge of legal. Which is kind of foolish if you think about it, he's been doing that his whole life. He knows everything he needs to know about the people who are running things in the US because he's been dealing/dodging them for decades.

I remember when they said this about Nixon, Reagan, Bush 1, Bush 2 and now Trump. There's a pattern in there somewhere, I'm sure of it.

How so? Trump's statement, which he released, shows him placing unlawful conditions on giving Ukraine weapons appropriated to defend themselves against Russia. What's so DOA about pursuing that? Sounds to me like you're one of those folks who close your ears and mind and support Trump no matter what.

So you would be fine if Obama used taxpayer funded aid as leverage to ask a foreign official to dig up dirt on a political opponent during an election and then hid the conversations on a server meant for highly classified material?

He is soliciting other countries to throw our elections, and might as well paint a bullseye on himself. I know so many guys who would love nothing more than to assassinate a president, just for bragging rights. Perhaps we can ask the North Koreans for help? He is turning the office into a dictatorship controlled by other countries interfering with our internal politics. Reagan and both Bushes brought us incrementally closer to this, but never over the line. This is most definitely over the line and an invitation to complete disaster.

Other countries interfering with our internal politics is a banana republic!

Trump and Perry are giving opposite explanations. Trump is saying the Ukraine deal is Perry's fault and Perry is saying he did not discuss Ukraine with Trump or the Ukrainians. This sounds like a he made me do it moment.
