I wrote it to show how hypocritical Republicans can be, because they say things to the Evangelic base then later at the cock & tail party they do otherwise. It stands to reason that diGenova would refer to an inquiry of Trump as an attempt to kill the king.

The acts of Trump that stem from the view of himself as a king are part of what precipitated the impeachment inquiry.

The language used by Trump's apologists is becoming increasingly fringe.
