You said that. But then I tried to think of a sitcom that was popular that was about a bunch of butch guys and I couldnt think of any

Dont think you can have more than one alpha male. If Richie and that other guy had been just as butch as Fonzi, Fonzi wouldnt have been as cool.

For the extra laughs you need the guy thats a dumbass, one thats a little bit fancy, one thats socially awkward etc

I knew what you meant but I wanted to hear you elaborate on it because I like the way you explain things :)

I'm not the worst at accepting gifts, or help in this case, but only from people who intuitively know I need help because I'm not going to ask lol
Maybe I'll try to do better

I think I would use that definition as well--I call it "the magnet". Some people, you just have the magnet with, even if you lack common interests, you can have that "friend chemistry" and that is enough. Even if you couldn't rely on that person in an emergency, that doesn't mean they aren't your friend, since not everyone is reliable or has the means to come to someone's aid at the drop of a hat. If I meet 50-100 people, I might have a magnet with 1 of them, and I mean that romantically or platonically. It's a rare thing.

On that note, I think I have about 8-9 friends whose friendship has stood the test of time. Many of them live far from me, but when we see each other we click right back into place like puzzle pieces, and we text or talk with varying degrees of frequency. I don't make a lot of friends, but when I do I tend to hang on to them forever.

I got one true friend, my wife, and a shit ton of mates I'd drop at the dime for that one friend of mine.

But then some of those mates would drop everything to help me out, so they should be friends shouldn't they?

This is why I've always lived in the ally, neutral and enemy state. Most people just fall to me as neutral, yeah you're there, I see ya, you're not bothering me. Few come through as allies, they're the ones I'm going to drop what I'm doing to help out, or help me out etc. Then there's the enemies. They're the people I just got no time for.

But no one you would call a friend. I see.

As for me, I have a few who I call friends but none drink. I am the only one amongside them that drink.

I wanna get rid of this dirty habbit but alcohol gets my body, all over. It takes me under its control.

    You are fortunate.
Does your drinking fuck you up and make you become a danger to yourself and others?

Also, do your friends try to help you when you get under alcohol’s control?

It looks quite dangerious. Someone in the street can beat me up and break some of my bones when I am drunk and I wouldnt even remember anything.

So if I may ask and I don’t mean to be nosy but- are you an alcoholic? Can you force yourself away from it at all?

For quite a while, I drank twice a week but till the point that I lose my memory. I dont remember when I drink.

The last time I drank, I was almost arrested. I dont remember anything. When my body begs for alcohol to me, I can't help it.

When I drink, I do drink all the way. All the way. You know what I mean, right?

So you tell me. Am I an alcoholic?

It is very dangerious. Someone could beat me up to death when I am drunk.
