A turkish girl I used to talk long time ago did argue with this truth of mine, though. She said it was amazing to be a woman. She made men buy her stuffs and a lot of things. She used the power of being a woman. And she did it without sleeping with them as well.

It looks as if you were correct. His explanation makes a lot of sense about things that he did not include in his original post.
One of our daughters friends is from Turkey and she is terrified of letting her father find out, even if she only chats to a guy at the bus stop. Her father is so entrenched in the Turkish culture, that he would probably run out of his kebab shop and chase the guy down the road with a meat cleaver.
I think that the one point that Grandeur missed was that once married, women tend to become a possession and they are afraid to even speak to another guy unless their husband is with them.

    Body dysmorphic disorder

    What does dysmorphic mean?
A dysmorphic feature is a difference in body structure. It can be an isolated finding in an otherwise normal individual, or it can be related to a congenital disorder, genetic syndrome, or birth defect. Dysmorphology is the study of dysmorphic features, their origins, and proper nomenclature.

    What are the 4 genders?
In the case of the Navajo, there are four genders: man, woman, masculine female-bodied nádleeh, and feminine male-bodied nádleeh.

i don't remember any life i might have been born as one. it would have been on a different world with a very different culture, so different from this one that nothing about it would likely apply if i did. i would imagine though, it would feel rather like being born a minority as many different cultures on this planet treat female as being second class to male, though even that hasn't always been so, and certainly isn't universal among other species, and as has been mentioned, the female gender does have one reasonably powerful lever, but even so, still receive mostly second class treatment.

changing things there are several other options. such as species with other then sexual reproduction. while this may not be an option for major species on our world,
nothing to stop this from being the case on some other. budding and dividing are both alternative reproductive options. and then there's also the possibility of a species having more the two physical sexes. and again on some other world if not this one.

in a logical culture, one gender wouldn't feel any different then another.

Yes, I know. I guess you're just gonna end up being saddened and disappointed you were born 'Steve,' and not 'Eve' then?

Yeah, I don't feel all that valued by society because I'm a woman. Quite the opposite in fact. I'm always second gussed and feel the need to constantly explain myself in ways men never do.

Come to Turkey. You'll be very stuck up because of the extreme attention you get from the opposite sex. You will feel as valuable as a stone that is brought to Earth from Mars.

I feel a bit for the more balanced and progressive turkish men. They exist too. But as a nation they get unfortunate representation on here... and in the news.

I've never let being a woman really stop me from trying to achieve anything that I wanted to. I am what I am today based on nothing more than sheer will and determination, traits modern men seem to let fall by the waistside.

I feel loved and cherished in my relationship but in the workplace, I find that I need to work twice as hard as the guys on the team. Positives and negatives, but I don’t feel “bad” being a woman. It’s just par for the course in certain business circles.

In a work environment of trades, skills and farming Etc. Yeah I can easily see why men have the upper hand, but in a business environment where men adorn suits and sit at a desk? C'mon, man. It's rediculous to assume that a man can admin better than a woman, in fact, wasn't it always women typewriters etc. back in the day?

All my woman family farms, I even have certificates in welding and I know female boilermakers too so really... A lot of that male macho shit is just all fluff lol.

Our identities are tied up in our looks. Being attractive (or not) doesn't define us. Being liked by men doesn't give us our sense of value. I want to be respected for who I am, not be liked because of how I look.

that's true, women don't get beat up until they move in with the opposite gender.
