I admire that you’re competitive, I’m not at all. I do my best in business situations etc but I’m not competitive.

I can be competitive but I'm usually not. I usually go into things not really caring either way but then if I see I could actually win that's when my competitiveness comes out
And I'm a shit talker always, even if I'm not feeling competitive. I'll still talk a big game about how everyone is a loser and I'm going to kick everyone's ass :p

It's not for everyone. My wife is not competitive at all. It's all good, I don't expect anybody to be the same.

You're into what you're into, strive at what you strive for. :)

I'm not competitive whatsoever...but I always want to do my best. Know what I mean? Like there are things I know I can do well and when I mess up, it rips my nerves up. gah Talking about playing pool...I used to play when I went out and I was half way decent. I became fairly good at it when I was a bartender in my 30's and was alone sometimes for hours with the pool table. I didn't play with anybody, but would rack and shoot the whole rack over and over and over. Then when I began to play more with people, I had confidence that I hadn't had before, and should NOT have had. :D Of course there were always people that were damn fantastic and never had a bad night. I would have bad nights. lol Now I probably couldn't hit a straight in shot.

Then there is like NOW - and I'm sitting here waiting on my friend (gooberhead - its become my affectionate nickname for him :p ) to come and help me get the screen off of the window to my room because I locked myself out with the keys for EVERYTHING in there. gad I could just smack myself. But I came here instead..

Edit - actually I have copies of all my other keys...just not one to get in that damn room. good grief

Apparently my work is not happy with ol' Lincoln and they shafted him off doing shit jobs in the warehouse. I need to performance review the kid. :(

Straight shots are the worst lol. I prefer to have a slight angle unless I need to use backspin to get the ball down the other end, then I need to be straight.

I also think straight shots are hard because you pressure yourself to get it because it seems easy. But a fraction left or right of a straight shot, you'll miss over distance.

And then when you really start getting into pool, you'll start rubbing your hands on the felt to work out how much friction is on the table. Friction creates drag, creates innacuracy. Start to figure out.alright I need to shoot harder or softer depending the actual table.

I have a routine where I run balls slowly down the rails to see if the table is rolling in any direction. I practice diagonal banks to see how the cushions work. Every table is different. :)

Then even the static discharge of the balls themselves can influence how they roll. All things to keep in mind.

It's all science. :p fucken loooove science. :tongueclosed:

Just a walk about to the ems helicopter before I head over to fly in a Cessna. Yinz might have to wait until next year for a flight video. Just caught up in the moment, the foliage color were really cool. Id rather a camera to take the entire trip, and not interfer with flying time..

Depends what it does for me.
    Pool science, interesting.

Some made up fantasy, not so much. I've always said, in almost all science regards I don't have an opinion on, it's strictly cosmology and out in space with all the theories I get snarly at. :p mostly because, nothing actually matters and opinions don't matter because nothing has ever been proven, so those theories don't mean anything to my life.

Pool science on the other hand, well that means something in my life. :)

Whether the big bang occurred or a photo of a black was taken or not, ain't gonna help my life ya know.
