    Oh sacrilege !!! - a stack of pancakes need to be loaded with Maple Syrup and either whipped cream or even Icecream !!!

    It's so different to me, because we always ate them more like for dessert..
    breakfast pancakes is an American thing. I remember reading it in Charlotte's Web and being like, whaaaat.. pancakes for breakfast! that's so cool I want that.
    What I call a pancake is actually closer to crepes compared to American pancakes.


    On another note, "pancake mixes", same as "sauce mixes" baffle me.
    Sauces and pancake batter are both so incredibly simple already.
