All based on your imagination, and conspiracy theories circulating on the internet since the early 1990s. They are probably the most investigated couple in history, beginning with the Whitewater hearings by multiple congressional committees, which eventually shifted to Bill's Monica affair and, in the twenty-first century, Benghazi and Hillary's emails. And so far nada.

There already appears to be a backlash from voters, while the republican party is falling apart at the seams, with OConnell basically advising the senate that its every man for himself. The evidence is damning, the majority of the public wants him impeached, and the only thing anyone really cares to hear next is congress actually enforcing the law. Without rule of law, Donald Duck and his followers win by default, and the American political system is officially up for sale to the highest bidder. Unfortunately, congress is composed of lawyers and bankers, who wouldn't know honesty and integrity if Jesus himself walked up to them.

Washington and Jefferson would move to Canada. Anywhere they don't broadcast Fox News.

I think they have a strong case. The kind of evidence that convicts in court does not matter to his cult.

Anonymous book: Trump 'will not exit quietly,' author says in Warning

Anonymous" depicts Trump as impatient, immoral, cruel, even dangerous as he rejects the limits placed on presidents by Congress and the courts.

As the 2018 midterm elections approached, the book says, the White House counsel’s office began to develop a “contingency plan” to shield the administration if Democrats gained control of Congress, and with that the ability to launch investigations and issue subpoenas. New lawyers were hired and internal procedures revamped, the author writes.

“The goal wasn’t just to prepare for a barrage of legislative requests,” the book says. “It was a concerted attempt to fend off congressional oversight. When Democrats finally took the House, the unspoken administration policy toward Capitol Hill became: Give as little as possible, wait as long as possible. Even routine inquiries are now routed to the lawyers, who have found unique ways to say “We can’t right now,” “Give us a few months,” “We’re going to need to put you on hold,” “Probably not,” “No,” and “Not a chance in hell.”

The author says the administration's refusal to comply with congressional requests and even subpoenas "go beyond standard practice and have turned into a full block-and-tackle exercise against congressional investigators across an array of Trump administration controversies."

On the president's actions with Ukraine, now the heart of the impeachment inquiry, the author writes that the idea Trump was trying to battle corruption abroad – rather than gain some partisan political advantage at home – was "barely believable to anyone around him."

What discussion? About the Clintons? I don't recall starting this thread to talk about them. Look, I realize these threads tend to drift off the subject but we could be on the verge of ending the biggest clusterfuck of a US Presidency in history and I'd like for us to pay attention to that. Let's watch what happens the next couple days and try to comment on that alone.

Congress and the justice department are obviously too needy, and need to have their staff cut. You're Fired! Low-low-low-as-you-can-go tax cuts! Make America great again! By firing everyone!

It is a strong case that Trump committed election law violations, extortion, obstruction of justice, all to the detriment of the rule of law and our foreign policy toward Ukraine . Problem is, the ordinary American isn't concerned about such matters. The enormity doesn't sink in. And the Republicans aremostly very much like those Trump supporters who would still support him if he shot someone in broad daylight in the middle of 5th Avenue. I think Trump will be impeached by the House, but there's no way he will be removed, and he'll probably claim he's been cleared, and lot of voters will believe him.

I never said Trump was a Nazi or a neo Nazi, you must have me confused with someone else.
He is racist but you don't have to be a Nazi to be racist.

So your contention is that the Clintons didn't personally pull the trigger or push someone out of a window?
They're just at the head of a vast, worldwide murder incorporated organization?

Hmm, funny none of theses thousands of people in the vast worldwide hit squad have ever talked, or at least written a book. They'd make millions with a book. The Clintons must pay pretty well.
Funny no on has ever produced any evidence to support your contention that the Clintons directed all these crimes, the Clintons have never been indicted for murder...or threatening kids...or family members.

Do you have any names of these hired killers?

Sorry about digressing into the Clintons...but the bullshit about the Clintons is the same bullshit that Trump is now spouting about Biden. An old Republican tactic. Remember the Swift Boaters? Same bull.

I realize the Clintons were thrown into this thread as a distraction from Trump.
I'll let it drop. Panic can start a thread about it if he wants.

Don't give him any new ideas.

  11. I guess it is distressing if you're fixated on all the shit about Trump. Personally I see most of this as the silt leaking over from an obvious rift in the Democrat camp. As they become too left to be taken seriously, their useless focus on Trump is like a security blanket. It's exactly what I expect from hard leftists and wobbly democrats.

I still think Biden is their only option. And Trump is ready for him.

I don't think this will lead to impeachment, but that's not the only reason they should try this. It's to verify if he should be impeached or not. In a society that aims/pretents to be a fair democracy that should be purpose enough.. if there's actual indications to start officially verifying that. And yes, there were. Just like there are indications Biden jr. is using his dads influence for personal gain.
If you compare it to your tendency to focus on the Clintons you should be able to relate to this fixation perfectly.

  13. Indeed! So why is my insanity not celebrated as well? Because the Clintons can do no wrong.

Personally, I think impeaching Bill was a mistake that gave us the rise of the RINOs. He should have said "yea, I hit that, so what" . Surely he wasn't scared of the Republicans.

With Trump I see a lot of Democrat hypocrisy. He used to be one of their darlings. The about face was so obvious and fake.

I don't think so Panic. After she found out he went on a ride on Epstein's jet, I doubt he could back-talk her.

And Trump is a true lover of wild endangered animals. That's why he opened up the hunting season and allowed hunters to bring in animal parts and trophies all the way from Africa. Grizzlies wolves and sage grouse all love him and his golf courses.

He was scared of Hillary. You have now idea how mean she is. God couldn't help the Republicans if she gets elected. They would spend all their money on ant-acids.
I think the purpose is to show the American people what illegal and criminal conduct Trump carried out. Impeachment is then like a vote of no confidence in a parliamentary system. The trial in the Senate is about removing him from office, and today is unlikely. The Republican Party will likely protect him in the Senate. The outcome from that scenario will show the American people what the Republicans are all about. They used to be the party of law and order. Today the are the party of corruption, crime, and cronyism. In 11 months the Democrats will have all 3, meaning House, Senate, and White House.

Oh , I see. "There's nothin to see here. Move along?" I'm "fixated" on Trump the way I'd be "fixated" on a train wreck about to happen, because I'm an American and must watch in horror as my country continues to lose its principles and follow the pattern of others who have become dictatorships. The only thing I can do is call it out and hope somebody listens.

I guess I'm unclear on what "Aid withheld" is going to mean by the end of this. When was the aid supposed to be made available? Is there wiggle room, or is it on a specified date available to Ukraine and thus was withheld beyond that date? I would love to paint the picture in black and white though. :D
