I ran the UK premier of Charlotte's web. The audience were clapping at Templeton and grown people were leaving the theater with tears running down their face after Charlotte died at the end of the film,
We ran it at the major art house theater and it broke the then current box office record. Their were very few children in the audience.

If you enjoyed To Kill a Mockingbird you’ll definitely enjoy the movie Sergeant Rutledge starring Woody Strode

But oh yeah, Great Expectations, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, David Copperfield, and Moby Dick by Herman Melville

Didn’t there used to be a question in trivial pursuit What species of spider is Charlotte in Charlotte's Web?

    Hint: Charlotte A Cavatica

    Araneus cavaticus.

That's a relief. For a moment I thought that you were going to tell me that it was before you were born. :yum::yum::yum:

I learn something new every day on HF. I did not study spiders, but our daughter is an expert on Berkshire pigs. We had the 2 that Gordon Ramsay had at home before the barbecue,

Now I do feel like an old fossil. I was running a major London theater 7 years before you were born. I had better hang up my walking frame, have a cup or Horlicks and go to bed, :worried::worried::worried:

You can see how related to fish they were by following the head to the tail.

I learned last night, well actually I'm really skeptical about it, but on ancient Aliens they said an octopus could theoretically be able to completely change its shape and appearance if it wanted to, but not just in its octopus Form, they said over time of having to adapt to changing environments it is smart enough to theoretically grow arms and legs and skin. Lol.

I reckon it's a bunch of beloni so I haven't bothered to read up about it.
