I will let you do it for me.

And this is an important step, info will be noticeably absent from Washington post articles.

Where does the aid actually come from? Who decides on how much and where it goes, and of course, when?

Its ok, you dont have to do that.

If he has to resort to that kind of thing, just reeks of desperation.

Now we know he did a couple essays on the civil war in community college yet 40 years later he is somehow unable to google what his countrys constitution says (or more accurately doesnt say )about impeachment

Not going to get into my countrys political system is better than yours argument, as I know how thats going to go.

But its a bit weird having a speaker of the house that doesnt keep their mouth shut by default

Did the whistle-blowers report cause the aid to resume ? That may only be an assumption . I believe Trump has
set a trap - with purpose - but I feel the public will suffer . It's ok to un-plug from that reality . Liberal or conservative ,
the media will be biased and confounding and shall increasingly whack your mind with wicked cleverness .

    Protect your dignity .

You think that Trump resuming aid the day after the public was informed was a trap?

That sounds insane. What's the trap there?

I don't think he's from down there … no clear indication that he knows anything about their government.

I see nothing evident which indicates you possess knowledge about that government. At the same time you routinely cut ours down.

In America the Speaker of The House of Representatives is hire to speak often. I submit Trump ought to be the one to shut the hell up. He has a tendency to make himself sound stupid.

Tell us how you understand that to be true in the first place. What aid? from where? Paid to whom exactly?

USAID is independant of the president, but its not from them

Why dont you tell everyone what the $400 million dollar aid package actually is

The Speaker is "hire(d)" to speak often is she?

And you are the one calling Trump stupid?

Well, I was trying to be polite. What other metaphoric description do you prefer … a fucking moron? He did pardon three war criminals and lowered America's stature in the world community, did he not?

We're talking about military aid. USAID administers only civilian aid, not military aid. UASAID is not independent of the President. It is part of the executive branch, under the authority of the President, and the Administrator can be fired by the President without cause. It's called "independent" in the same sense EPA is called that. It's not part of a cabinet-level agency, although it is subject to guidance from the State Department. You seem to be confusing it with an independent regulatory commission like the FCC. Your standing to call anybody stupid or further comment on American politics is hereby revoked.

$250 million was military aid passed by National Defense Authorization Act of 2019.

$141 million came through the state department. About $115 million came from the fiscal 2019 Foreign Military Financing, and the other $26.5 million was drawn from a combination of fiscal 2018 Foreign Military Financing and Overseas Contingency Operation funds.

The U.S. aid to Ukraine that Trump froze, in one chart

Congress holds the power of the purse, but in almost all cases this flows through executive agencies (State Department and DOD)

Mentioning Biden in the (monitored) phone call was the trap . Mouse is caught by the tail . Trump's cat is confidently
playful . Gruesome , really . Dignity is the victim .

You ever hear of Occam's Razor, The simplest answer is usually correct? You can explain everything here with Trump being a corrupt idiot.

Breaking the law to set an elaborate political trap would be overcomplicated and still be breaking the law.
