We are already suffering years of this grudge match the democrats initiated a matter of hours after Trump was sworn in. The media has been rendered untrustworthy for the most part but it's being replaced by personalities on YooToob and FarceBuuk et al (I will not advertise for those fuckers) who spout only as much opinion as they think the service provider will allow.

All of this spills into other information resources and adds taint. Even financial news is getting suckered into the bullshit. I wonder what kinds of crap has invaded Golf magazines (probably time to see the doctor). Rigged polling is another blow to credibility. We're getting to the point that everything is absurd, but somehow normalized. The epitome of this as I see it is the San Francisco map of human shit app for Android!

I was stationed there in the 80s, it was an amazing time.

 

What I heard was during my afternoon commute, so I didn't get a recording of it. I usually only listen to it in the morning. Regardless, all I'm offering is my overall impressions from the exchange I heard. It was kind of comical overall, hearing this host trying to get a republican guest to agree to long strings of twisted rhetoric, which he refused to do. Big shocker there!

One of their favorite snarky bits they do is the use of "without evidence" with any allegation made by a republican or "conservative". With democrats they never apply this, and it's not because democrats are amazingly shy of bullshit to be spewed forth. And that's just a single example. They have all kinds of other cute little games they play with language and delivery, but then, so do all of the other radio stations, it's a performing art.

 

If rational beings cannot see what type of amoral assholes republicans are at this point---there isn't much hope of ever returning this country into some semblance of (albeit rigged) normality that semi functioned as a democracy heretofore. The most disappointing part of this whole fucking 3 years of horseshit to me, is the fact that millions and millions of humans can STILL see anything--absolutely ANYTHING--decent, honorable or in any way moral or intelligent with this trump dipshit. Virtually everything he's had anything to do with--has turned to shit. I won't go into the litany of such--those who know--know. I say virtually, because I believe he had something to do with helping the veterans hospitals better themselves. I can only hope this nightmare comes to a close soon and we can rejoin the world as a nation to be (somewhat--we are not and have never been squeaky clean) -- proud of.

I got my first "real" job in over 20 years during this time. It's the first time since the late 90s that I've had to commute. It's also weird having a boss instead of a client. Bosses seem to have a weirdly distorted view of their own importance.

Since I commute now, I have about an hour each way to listen to the news from a couple of different sources of skew and omit. I'm inspired to set up a web station maybe.
