There was a series of books I read when I was very young about tween private eyes, the main characters name was Jules and him and his friends had a secret cubby house.

For the life of me, for decades, even with googles help, have been unable to remember what the book series was or who the author was

It was a series about kid detectives aimed at tweens, but I read it when I was about 7 or 8 so memory is very fuzzy

I think the most plausible explanation is that he's a total troll with nothing better to do with his time. It must get boring in Australia, so he amuses himself by trolling discussions of U.S. politics and deliberately muddying the waters with specious arguments.

So far, the impeachment trial seems to be going well for the Democrats. Eight witnesses have corroborated the bribery and extortion charge--making military aid to Ukraine contingent on providing dirt about a political opponent. Trump's withholding of documents and blocking key witnesses from testifying also supports an obstruction charge. I doubt, however, that any of this will change many minds. Under those circumstances, it seems foolish to me to proceed with a full impeachment effort which will surely fail in the Senate. The democrats don't need to impeach him, just drag this out for as long as they can, and wait for his income taxes. Go ahead, tell me a sitting president can be guilty of a felony, at this point, I'll believe anything.
