    5. I enjoy watching you all squirm

There is no such thing as an "official" impeachment inquiry

LOVE attaching "gate" to everything. When I was in high school we had "Locker-Gate" when students decided to self-assign their lockers after the school-assigned locations turned out to be stupid and random.

  3. The Fountainhead was already made into a movie, B&W, and it was excellent!

  4. Impeach, or no Beach! (Probably only good in California)

The bottom line is the Republicans have no bottom line.

When the impeachment vote occurs and the Republicans refuse to vote for it they will be declaring that Trump has free reign to do anything he wants, regardless of the law....but we already know they have granted him that right.

When the trial concludes in the Senate, if Mitch allows one, and the Republicans acquit Trump they will have further reinforced their permission for Trump to do anything he wants.

In addition to the damage this does to the separation of powers, Constitution, and rule of law...it will also send a very clear message to the world that there is no department of our government, no governmental individual, no policy, or law as defined by our Constitution, or various treaties that we have entered into that can be relied upon.
Trump will become the de facto dictator of the U.S. as he has the final word on everything.

The only recurse will be the upcoming election in which we will know Trump will have been given permission to ask for any and all foreign government to interference. And even grant them rewards or "favors" for doing so.
The Russians will be very glad to accommodate him as will many other nations, foes such as Russia and North Korea, and various allies.

Of course any other political candidate of any other political party will also be free to ask for that same foreign interference and supply their own "favors" in return.

And that's where we will be.

  6. Seems more like he's supposed to prove he's not guilty of something. Yet, that something has failed to materialize. Sure, we get this show, and years of Bombshells, but otherwise it's a fact in a hurricane. Hate is not enough to get rid of a president.

    Are you talking about Trump?
Trump doesn't have to prove anything. In fact, as he said, he can shoot somebody in the middle of Fifth Avenue and his supporters, including almost the entire Republican party, could give a shit.

What has materialized is that in addition to his obstruction of justice as outlined by Mueller, his violations of the Emoluments Clause, and whatever else....the facts have borne out that he withheld a meeting with the president of Ukraine in the Oval Office for personal political gain, he withheld a phone call with the president of Ukraine for personal political gain, and he withheld Congressionally approved tax payer funds for the defense of Ukraine for personal political gain. Those are the facts, undisputed.

Hate has little to do with it, Constitutional law does.
Now, I admit the Republicans don't care about the Constitution in this regard, in fact one Republican house member during the hearing called the impeachment process a coup, obviously he has no understanding of the Constitution. Be that as it may, your fact in a hurricane will free Trump, and I may point out all future presidents, to ask favors from any foreign government they choose, to interfere in any election for their own personal gain....and they will be free to use tax payer money for that purpose.

Let me give you an example:
After the Senate Republicans moan about how wrong this was and he shouldn't have done it...but fail to remove him from office (after all boys will be boys). What is to stop Trump from calling up president Moon Jae-in and saying,

    Trump:
I will say that we do a lot for South Korea. We spend a lot of effort and a lot of time. Much more than the European countries are doing and they should be helping you more than they are. Germany does almost nothing for you. All they do is talk and I think it's something that you should really ask them about. When I was speaking to Angela Merkel she talks South Korea, but she doesn't do anything. A lot of the European countries are the same way so think it's something you want to look at but the United States has been very very good to South Korea. I wouldn't say that it's reciprocal necessarily because things are happening that are not good but the United States has been very very good to South Korea.

    Moon Jae-in:
Yes you are absolutely right. Not only 100 per cent, but actually 1000 per cent and I can tell you the following; I did talk to Angela Merkel and I did meet with her. I also met and talked with Macron and I told them that they are not doing quite as much as they need to be doing on the issues with the North Koreans. They are not working as much as they should work for South Korea. It turns out that even though logically, the European Union should be our biggest partner but technically the United States is a much bigger partner than the European Union and I'm very grateful to you for that because the United States is doing quite a lot for South Korea. Much more than the European Union especially when we are talking about the man you love Kim Jong-un's development of nuclear weapons, huge army, and massive artillery. I would also like to thank you for your great support in the area of defense. We are ready to continue to cooperate for the next steps specifically we are almost ready to buy more Javelins from the United States for defense purposes.

    Trump:
I would like you to do us a favour though because our country has been through a lot and South Korea knows a lot about it. I would like you to find out what happened with this whole situation with Elizabeth Warren, they say Harvard ... I guess you have one of your wealthy people ... Native American heritage. There are a lot of things that went on, the whole situation. I would like to have the Attorney General call you or your people and I would like you to get to the bottom of it. As you saw yesterday, that whole nonsense ended with a very poor performance by a man named Adam Schiff, an incompetent performance, but they say a lot of it started with the Steele Dossier. Whatever you can do, it's very important that you do it if that's possible.

    Trump:
And oh, that guy Joaquin Castro, the whole situation, Cuba, cigars, communism, get to the bottom of that also. Thanks.

    Moon Jae-in:
Sure, whatever you say, we need those weapons do defend our country.

Neither defender nor foe can speak of Trump's trick , and so the joke is doubled . The comedian president of Ukraine has a chuckle for it .

  11. All Trump is doing is allying the US with dictatorships and letting them meddle in our democratic process, turning the world into a global fascist state. Democrats are such haters. Donald is a sweetie pie.

We got rid of that years ago.

Now you have to give a reason for your negative opinions.

Maybe the word "official" means something completely different in your country?
