Naomi Ackie, thats ok then, she can act But the one that played Rose cant act, why did they put her back in
I don't know but the same can be said for Jar Jar Binks, perhaps she still has a pivotal role to play in the final outcome.
I didnt say anything when the "controversy" first came out because it did all sound racist But she couldnt fuckin act, that whole sub plot of her and Finn going to the casino planet and freeing the space camels was the a bizarre interlude in what is otherwise a great friggin movie ( I always just fast forward through that part ) And how was her having a sad needy crush on Finn empowering to tween girl viewers exactly? Also, can we please just erase the memory of Jar Jar completely. I would be fine if I went the rest of my life no one ever mentioning him again. I mean, really, if it wasnt for him, we would be up to episode 12 right now
By the way, think it was actually watching the pilot for that Batwoman TV show that was the final straw that broke my personal enforced diversity camels back No one was really asking for a TV show about Bruce Waynes cousin in the first place, and no, its not important for her to be LGBT, and no its not important for her to be in a mixed race relationship with a woman that ends up getting married to a guy because she prefers dick anyway Argggghhh!
The part with freeing those animals is a bit cringy indeed, but not primarily because of the bad acting for me. It just feels kind of forced. Btw: when Finn wants to keep going towards the enemy on Craitt and Rose saves her: how do you feel about that part? I thought it wasn't satisfying in anyway, in fact it was almost more annoying and stupid as the casino part. About the diversity thingie in the poster Hotwater shared: i think you may be subconsciously too busy with that. I mean its a really diverse setting anyway (a whole alien galaxy). And why does this scream enforced diversity to you exactly? Just because she's black? Or a woman Lol Were people whining about forced diversity as well when they saw Leia for the first time? Anyway, that baby Yoda lookalike in the Mandalorian looks forced too. Too obviously ment to be cute. I take the Fistful of dollars in space analogy less serious now i took notice of that creature
yep Not really about Star Wars, just everything else lately. The Watchmen has to be all about black on white race hate, that Charlies angels reboot, wasnt as bad as they say, but the one that played the Princess in Aladdin especially just shouldnt have been there,it was an obvious diversity casting. And the part that pissed me off most about Batwoman was when its fast forwards a couple years and her girlfriend is now married to a dude - its like, well why make the character lesbian in the first place, who are you trying to empower if thats what you are going to do with the character, thats the message to teen lesbians, that your girlfriends are going to grow up and leave you for dudes. Then there was that Charmed reboot, that was just ugh Its all a little too obvious lately, just go back to choosing actors who can act and have chemistry together Come on, be a badass and pirate the eps, cos its a lot awesome then I thought it would be, yes baby yodas grandson or whatever he/she is, is very cute and thats an obvious play But its a great ep, especially if you like seeing jawas getting vaporized
I live for vaporizing jawas! :-D But yeah, I'm getting to the pirating point. No patience and im already too much into the setting at the moment (due to Fallen order, Battlefront 2 and because i watched all the movies recently). Resistance is futile (yes, wrong scifi quote: sue me!)
I am ok with Thai as long as they dont talk too fast, i.e Kevin Hart is not in it, That Jumanji reboot I watched in Thailand....and well, I should have known
Yeah shit dude, Jumanji remade is either for kids or to watch stoned and for free on like Netflix. I enjoyed it the latter way But... i would rather wait a week or so than not watch Episode 9 in the original language. But somehow I waited a year before seeing Rogue one, and i think Episode 7 too. I'm not big on movie theatres and even less on premieres. I did really enjoy Once upon a time in Hollywood though in cinema when it first got out though, can't deny. But that was an exception for me.
"Chapter" 4 of the Mandalorian was very Stargate-ish. Save an indigenous village on a planet in the middle of nowhere. Thought it was cool it was like Stargate, even though it was a filler ep. And how cute was yodas grandson or whatever it is
I saw Episode 4 The Sanctuary and I admit I don’t have Disney plus so I watched it on 123 movies With all the services I already pay for I’m not going to dish out another $6.99 a month. In any case “ Echo Base, Imperial walkers on the North Ridge”
