I've got a sore throat infection for the last three days that I don't mind dealing with.

I agree actually. But calling a man in his 50s boyfriend felt silly so I said partner for a while and disliked the sound of it every time and that's when I decided to just refer to him as luv. I do say boyfriend sometimes.

I'm passing through Sydney in about twelve hours so expect to see you waving. Just talked to some people who can't go back to their house. Remarkably calm about it.

I like it Mel when you refer to your bf as "beau"

If my gf would say "Hey beau" to me..
Or
intro me as "This is my beau, Pete"

^ this intro might sound like ...."lil' bo peep"? if said quickly, but it would get some nice ice breaker lol's.

Anyhoo....being called beau would be an endearing turn on for me.

To me marriage is a state of being, not a legal document. People become married over time. That's where people go wrong, and having a wedding to become married. Only have a wedding once you ARE married. So he's your husband basically.
