I should clarify I was not insinuating it’s a fear of violence that would prevent Senators from voting in favour of impeachment. They won’t do it out of fear of not being re-elected which is why you’re already seeing Democrats distancing themselves as well.

You can't blame anyone for not watching an hour long 'clip' that supposedly explains a very unlikely conspiracy theory. If you really think you know the truth, you can explain why and how with the use of that vid. But not by just dropping it without explaining shit.

Nixon was clearly a crook and deserved to be impeached. As the democrats were assembling the case against him, the news went Watergate wild and the Vietnam war became back page news. The press was going nuts because there was finally proof of the sort of corruption Washington is famous for. There was just so much undeniable proof it was as if Nixon framed himself.

I don't see a parallel this time. The case made by the democrats against Trump, which began hours after he was inaugurated, is seriously thin.

I read some speculation that because of the attempted coup d'etat (which isn't exactly proven out since they used democratic means to go after him) the clock on his first term is basically stopped until this is resolved. And that Trump could actually be a 3-term president through some legal loophole. Its funny to see such speculation from the right, I bet they masturbate to it. It's just as funny to see leftists cream themselves planning for Trump's prison term.

It will be nice when the extremes have been played out so we can get closer to normal. Until then, we're all watching the bouncing ball.
