So it's getting a bad rotten tomatoes. 57% positive. so not cool! 'Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker': Worst reviews since 'Phantom Menace'
So we seen this yet or what? I thought it was frickin awesome 57% critic rating vs 86% audience rating on rotten tonatoes as of today. So another case of critics thinking themselves cool to rag on a particular pop culture icon Some of those critics reviews are just downright perplexing. The Force Awakens was a little too close to New Hope, Last Jedi had that middle filler part on the Casino planet that was a waste But this one had none of that, an action packed blast from start to finish, and it was its own movie. Easily the best of the three IMO
The little black guy? But he's the funniest of the lot. He made the 2nd jumangi for me I could not stop laughing at him even when he was being serious I was laughing at him still.
I don't think I've seen him in anything else but I've been told he always acts the same so yeah it probably would be annoying. I'm generally not into these types of comedies especially Jack Black so I went it with heaps of sceptics and pre concentrated hate but it was quickly washed away. I think it could have been its own stand alone film without the Jumangi aspect to it, as I think it kind of made a mockery to the original Jumangi.
I feel the same way. I became done with Star Wars after ep. 7. Originally I was somewhat happy that Disney was doing to take control of the Star Wars franchise. But, like the Phantom Menace, they let me down.
it was meh.. effects great.. sjw shit, I didnt even pay attention to. New Hope was full of the same, ya just cant see it as well, unless u an old turd like myself..
Wish I never saw it If someone in real life asks me if I saw it, I will lie, and say no I haven't saw it. If someone gets me the blu ray as a gift next year,I will grab my hand saw and I will saw it
They snuck in a wesbian pash near the end Blonde resistance commander and what looks to be her fighter pilot lady friend Near the end of the movie, in the background for a whole half second. Cut from screening in the UAE apparently, because if they see two women kissing, their society will fall apart
Haven't seen 9 yet... So... I thought Jumanji 2 was new, but now there's a 3rd one already? I watched 2 and thought it was entertaining enough, which doesn't mean I would recommend it to anyone except kids, but that's because I didn't have high expectations. I of course was high when watching it, as it is such a comedy.
I noticed that that criticism could have been projected on A new hope just as well, which led me to the conclusion its only an issue in the latest movies for certain people because they're overly focussed and concerned about the matter. I'm sure there was some old fart in the 70s who was at odds with Leias emancipated behavior
