Trump wants to stall the impeachment and Senate Trial with the excuse of Iranian troubles. He will point out that Clinton wanted his impeachment put off when he bombed an aspirin factory in Sudan. Iraq's parliament has already pointed out the presence of US troops in Iraq is clear about the use of force. US troops are not allowed to assassinate people on the streets as they wish. I expect US troops will now be ordered out of Iraq, and maybe even the closure of America's embassy.

 

(1) He was an Iranian general in Iraq AT THE INVITATION OF IRAQ and he was WITH IRAQI CITIZENS.
(2) What are US TROOPS doing in Iraq? It's not their country.

I don't know how signals could be any more mixed. I'm not sure what is supposed to have warranted this bombing and assassination in the first place. And the next day you act like you want peace? That's an abusive relationship.

so, this trump says the response was in retaliation for the death of an american military contractor, i.e.a mercenary. Sometimes you die when you want to play war.
