3po also loses his memory in the movie. They need to decipher some sith writing, but 3po can't unless they wipe his memory. Later he gets it back, though.
The force ghost thing was started at the end of ROTJ, once you cross that line, they are dead, but their presence can still interact with things then....well The only part of ROS that made me double take was horse on top of a star destroyer. That's the part I thought you'd be all whingeing about. Palpatine, we all knew he was coming back from the first trailer, how else do you think that was going to happen? Palpatine pulling ships out of his arse, to be truthful didn't even think of that the three times I've watched it There always a disconnect with any sci fi movie. If that were to actually happen it would just be AI fighting each other, or everything remote control, you wouldn't have crews of people at workstations with no fuses Last Jedi had that middle 40 mins that I now fast forward through every time. This one beginning to end was a blast. TV has been great this decade, but movies have been shit. ROS is still way better than anything Michael Bay has made, those ridiculous Fast and Furious sequels, that God awful movie with the Rock and the giant gorilla. And yes, still way better than those goddamn star wars prequels
I don't know why you'd want the dark force anyway. You just end up uggo in a robe with a deep voice infatuated with hate that only you feel. Lol.
But not the power to be able to stand there on your own you need a robot arm to carry you around? yeah I don't know who he thinks he's kidding lol.
I think there are a lot of good and fun details and elements in the last trilogy, but the story isn't (and neither is the main antagonist, which is important). Still haven't seen that yet But yeah, sounds not very unlimited lol (and i don't blame you for spoiling that as it was already told + this is the risk of joining in on a thread when I know several others have seen it already)
Oh true. Sorry lol. But that doesn't add anything or take anything away it's just a detail I noticed.
None of it is dorky. It's all supposed to be about action, explosions, fights. The actual drama, though, is exceptionally thin. Do I feel like I wanted something other than a Darth Vader with boyishly good looks and no respect for the role he's undertaking? Sometimes. Nothing compares to the original trilogy. Nothing. If we could only agree on that, even as a technicality.
Yea tbh I think I liked 1-3 more than 7-9. It's kinda like batman ya know, it was all kinda normal batman but the Dark Knight came about and tried to turn the ambient feeling to something much more dark and depressed. Just doesn't feel right.
Ugh, no way are those goddamn shitty prequels better than....let's call them the Reyquels Garrrrhhh! Jar Jar, that snotty kid, sooky emo teen annakin talking about sand, every real life character is cross eyed when talking to a CGI one, cartoon Yoda Garrrrhhh! Let the hate for the prequels flow right through you
I see you're really into this whole Star Wars thing ...lol... btw: If Palpatine was a woman we would have referred to her as empress not emperor
Palpatine is totally a girls name and it's not even scary. Literally any other name would probably be scarier and not sound like a species of daisy.
So far I’ve found you extremely forgiving of J J Abrams despite his mistakes, but ok, on to the next point…. How is Luke’s X-Wing fighter still working? It’s non-functional, Parts were ripped off and used to make the door of his hut on the island.of Ahch-To
