You only just started watching it?

I dropped everything else and watched that as soon as it came on

Lots of promise for future seasons. My favourite show of the year

As stated earlier: I couldn't easily get to it earlier. Friend has it on usb stick (which i will copy of course), and we're watching it together.

Don't forget to point out why the requels are better than the prequels! Must be easy if its so obvious to you ;) :p

Haven't you and I been through that a dozen times already?

Attack of the clones especially, I am never sitting through that again, as long as I live

We've been over what aspects are so annoying (Jar jar, drawn out romantic scenes, you disliking the actor who plays Anakin, the limited cgi), but not how the story is (even) worse than the 'reyquels' (handy term :grinning:). Probably because its vastly superior. If not, lets hear it!

Also, usually the Phantom menace gets the most criticism (also from you if i recall right), but you see Attack of the clones as even worse? Some of my fav scenes of that trilogy are in there (when they chase the hired assasin on Coruscant, Obi Wan finding out there in a diner and at the Jedi academy he has to check out Kamino, and then that whole part on Kamino and Obi Wan following Jango to Geonosis).
Besides, as pointed out the bad guys are a lot more fun in the prequels. Dooku, general Grievous, Jango Fett; they and how they fit in and compliment the story is all very satisfactory. You wanna disagree with that?

    Ugh, no

No one cares. I think you might be the only one left that does care

Let's just pretend they were never made

Throwing in the towel I see. That equals admitting the story is vastly (VASTLY!) superior :)

Bullshit, that would be marketing suicide

While George Lucas no longer has any say in the Star Wars production he nevertheless said the Jar Jar Binks is his favorite Star Wars character.

But yeah I agree it would be marketing suicide if he was a main character, but I could see him coming back as a tertiary character, no more than that..

The guy that played the original Freddy Krueger auditioned for Han Solo, Jodie Foster for Princess Leia and a Japanese guy from The Seven Samurai was originally going to be Obi Wan

Could have easily been a very different movie

Foster was 14 at the time, he couldn't get her as she was contracted to something else. But probably would have if he could have, then would have cast younger for the other two, which would have made it a total kids movie

Also, at one stage supposedly Tupac wanted to be Mace Windu and Michael Jackson wanted to be Jar Jar, but he wanted to actually be in the movie in prosthetics and make up

Yeah, I think if they had cast three teens I would have hated the movie

Everyone seems to love ET, i cant stand it because of the kids. Also the main reason Ive never watched Stranger Things

You’re not the only one who didn’t like E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial

At seven years old I couldn’t stand the movie, and as it turns out the only movie I ever liked that starred Henry Thomas
was Fire in The Sky (based on the book by Travis Walton)

There's absolutely no chance he can be a main character, and not only for the reason already mentioned. The story would have to take place during events already portrayed, and Jar Jar doesn't meet up a lot with Obi Wan later (and never before).
In episode 3 he has a boring political function. So little chance :) I wouldn't mind at all though if he would appear in a scene or two. But personally i hope Obi Wans story takes place before the clone wars.
