It's painful to watch the demise of Giuliani, once seen as a stoic hero in the wake of 9/11 and now observed to be Trump's bumbling defender (prosecutor?). Rudy Giuliani butt-dials NBC News reporter — twice By Nolan Hicks October 25, 2019 | 4:43pm | Updated https://nypost.com/2019/10/25/rudy-giuliani-butt-dials-nbc-news-reporter-twice/ excerpt: "President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani was caught on tape talking about an apparent business arrangement with a super-wealthy Persian Gulf nation when he accidentally dialed an NBC News reporter in the middle of the night. “Let’s get back to business,” Giuliani was recorded telling an unidentified third person in the voicemail message recorded at 11:07 p.m Oct. 16. “I gotta get you to get on Bahrain.” The reporter, NBC News’ Rich Schapiro, was asleep and discovered the message after the fact. Giuliani runs a security consulting firm and has deep business ties to the Arab nation — and has even had a sit-down with its ruler, King Hamad Bin Isa al-Khalifa."
A comedy sketch needs to be done where Trump's government officials are in the same room with him and Giuliani and Trump repeatedly has the others leave the room temporarily so that he can exchange a few words with Giuliani as part of their ploy to try to protect themselves with attorney-client privilege while maintaining Giuliani's status as a shadow agent but with the same powers and privileges of a government agent.
Or Trump ordering the government officials in the room to temporarily stick their fingers in their ears while he discusses a few sentences with Giuliani to invoke attorney-client privilege to try to protect themselves later.
I've never been a Rudy fan. He is an opportunist. He just happened to be mayor during 9/11. From what I've read, and heard, Bloomberg did more for the city after 9/11 than Rudy did.
Lived in NYC my entire 62 years. The transformation here under Giuliani is nothing short of miraculous. What he accomplished I never thought would even be possible. He literally pulled this town out of the garbage pail and had it running beautifully. Safe and spotless. Bloomberg did an excellent job of maintaining what Rudy built but this progressive moron we have now is letting it slide backwards again.
Yeah, 94 to 2001, didnt like the crime rate drop dramatically under his watch? I seem to remember such talk of him post 9/11
That would be the Rex Tillerson that was CEO of Exxonmobil for 11 years before becoming SOS And former President of the Boy Scouts of America, if ya know what I mean That Rex Tillerson?
I suspected for a long time that we have Republican Party operatives on here. They like Giuliani and Trump.
Not exactly sure what an operative is. I’m just a guy that likes law and order and leaders that put the interests of their law abiding tax paying constituents first and foremost. I’m registered as an independent.
Not only did crime plummet, but the city became cleaner and subway service was restored. I don’t throw the term hero around lightly but Rudy is considered one here to those who lived through it.
Says the guy that just tried to convince us how the Iranian government is the ultimate champion of womens rights How much does the Ayotollah pay you to post here, and do you get free pop tarts?
