Baking is a definitely a different beast from cooking but I've had decent luck so far with everything i've attempted. And I see why people find it so relaxing

It is. I dont eat a lot of baked goods so it intimidates me. Tho if I could make my own bagels...

And yeah it is relaxing. Ever since I was like 13 my idea of a good time was having a new recipe, an afternoon alone in the kitchen, and my favorite music playing. Maybe one of these days I will brave baking. I said I dont know how. I know I could if I had a recipe to follow, but I dont have the instinct for it

I finished my lisence but it won't let me in since I initially started as a spotter not a driver.

Yeah I follow recipes, it's been a change for me because I'm pretty instinctual with cooking. I may skim a few recipes to get a rough idea when it's my first time making a dish but I just mostly wing it. I dont really understand the chemistry of baking yet so I just follow recipes to the letter

What a deflating feeling this is. All that work for a month just wiped away in half a second and I can't even claim the fame to that disaster. I'm just sure all 4 of us though it would be me wrecking the car.

Because I can no longer get into server, I haven't even seen what happened, so there's no closure! Alas, I'm having a hot bath and I've been up for 30hrs now so hopefully my adrenaline will kick in and keep me awake a while longer then we can collapse under exhaustion and have a good sleep. I just feel empty is all. Makes me imagine how the real people must feel when a win gets away from them. We might never have won but we came from 2 laps down from 36th back up to 3rd at the end of our race. Getting a top. 10 seemed like a mammoth task yet alone a podium.

Even if if I couldn't have drive I'd love to sit there with the team anyway, I was making adjustments from the virtual pit crew to the drivers and we had it working.

I think next enduro race is 12hrs of Sebring.
