On the other hand, white people do look more diverse than most other races. I mean red, blonde, brown or black hair? Which other peeps naturally has that

That white people have the most diversity in natural hair colours? I don't think so.

Also, a slight nuance about it being my whiteness in particular that makes it difficult to see as much differences in people in another race: it's not the whiteness in particular, but how we (people in general, not caucasians/whites only) obserse people of other colour/race. The same counts for other races.

Yes sir. I am in total agreement here and now. I call it an adopted Republican value, now that the Freedom Caucus has corrupted a previously respectable group of people.

I'll remind people (for all the good it will do) that you will have more than two choices in November. The three largest political parties after the two asshole parties are:

Libertarian Party presidential nomination, 2020 - Ballotpedia

Green Party presidential nomination, 2020 - Ballotpedia

Constitution Party Candidates for President – 2020

A more complete list of choices can be found here but may not be on the ballot depending on where you live and whether there were enough signatures to have them included on the ballot:

Third party (United States) - Wikipedia

Don't vote on who you think will win, vote for who best represents your values. (Unless you're a socialist...then please stay home. :tongueclosed:)

The Libertarians need a cable news channel to also brainwash old people.

I agree 100% this SHOULD be the way, but isn't your country's system rigged in favor of the Democrat and Republican party?
It would be better to break it to fellow americans this should change (which seems impossible, but is not if enough citizens want it and act upon it. Now first the hopeless american citizen should be convinced they can actually change shit like this when they work together).

  12. Parties are a control mechanism for elite operators. It allows them to cleanly play chess, poker, craps, slots and scratch-offs with the lives and futures of the citizenry. Unfortunately the only non-party systems that have been concocted to date never reach the very point of their lofty goals. Sometimes I envy critters.....

The libertarian party and especially the constitution party are basically just far right fringe parties. And the green party is a far left fringe party. It's hard to vote 3rd party when they're just more of the same but with more extreme views

I disagree parties are like this by definition. The system itself facilitates it going in this direction. That similar minded politicians gather in such form can just as easily have positive results.

What kind of non-party systems are you thinking of here?

If Biden is on the ballot I'll be casting my usual Green party vote.

And before anyone comes at me, my state is really, really, really red. My vote does not matter BUT my vote for a third party could potentially make a difference because a third party becomes eligible for federal funding if they receive a certain percentage of the vote

I would vote for Biden if I were in a swing state.
*Shouldnt have to justify my vote but people get testy about this sort of thing

The number of votes Jill Stine got in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania was nearly identical to Trump's 78000 edge. And Jill Stine had supper with Putin and Flynn before the election. She even got cash from Putin, if my memory is correct.

Huh. Supports socialism, name that ends in 'ia'.

Now I wouldn't imply that Meliai is Russian. But wouldn't some things make sense? :tongueout:

Context matters. What's so dubious about this encounter exactly?

Should be easy to verify if true. Seems silly to claim when uncertain.
