He has a progressive Health Care plan, Buttigieg. I don't know if there's a problem with a Buttigieg presidency really. Except when I looked at his site, he's promising high paying jobs in green industry. I'd like to know how he plans to deliver on that, but it sounds good.

It's not the Democratic Iowans who are homophobic, so Buttigieg really isn't that surprising to me. Liberal Iowans are actually as liberal as it gets, as crazy or progressive, if you will, as any Californian. It's the Republicans in Iowa who won't let a goddamned faggot eat in peace in the same town as them.

I know. It's really a shame to hear that and think about it because I don't want to put a stereotype on African American voters. I think maybe the polls are saying that because they polled wrong or something. And now that this "Pete wins" comes out all that can change. But they might feel conservative about issues surrounding sexuality. I really don't know enough about the demographic to generalize.

one of my favorite bands was from Louisville I think. I'm not sure. Maybe Lexington. Anyway, I didn't know there was anything blue about it. Their music, incidentally, has a really emotional feel to it. Their name was Elliott and they've disbanded since like 2002 or something. I liked them around 1999-2002.

 

How is it stereotyping African-American voters to report what the polls consistently report, unless you think the polls are somehow racially biased? It might just be that African-American voters just don't like Mayor Pete. Why might that be? Because he's gay? Because he's white? Because of his law enforcement record pertinent to African-Americans? All of the above? Who knows? And yes, of course it could change after Iowa. We'll see.
