Hillary is one person, Michelle another. Even before Bill took office, Republican assholes were riding around with bumper stickers : "Impeach Clinton, and Her Husband, Too." Then came the years of Whitewater investigations, Benghazi investigations, those emails that brought on the chants "Lock her up!" and all the rumors about her murdering people my MAGA buddies still joke about. ( e.g.,"What did Kobe Bryant have on Hillary?) Michelle's problem is that she lacks governmental experience, which could be an advantage. But Michelle said:"When they go low, we go high". Obviously not cut out for national politics!

 

I dont see how someone could get in the race after the first primary with 0 campaign funds and 0 campaigning done in any states, and have any chance of winning.

I didn't realize all that started before Bill even took office. I agree Michelle is much more likable but certain people think she could run away with the election if she wanted to and I just don't think it's that easy. That said I'm sure the DNC would love to nominate her.

There are certain geographic areas in this country where the white population is vehemently opposed to blacks holding any kind of political office. Even in liberal California.

That is absolutely false. If not for a LOT of white voters Obama would not have been elected. After all, white people don't vote exclusively by race. But neither do black voters (only 95% of them voted for Obama).

 

First of all, there are no absolutes. Furthermore, what was the percentage of whites that voted for Obama? By the way, in the stastical world, the use of the term "a lot" is frowned upon.
