Trump Acquittal Thoughts?

You do understand that some Americans have a sense of superiority when in foreign countries. Some Americans would, and do act the same way toward foreigners in this country.

 

The Population Bomb by Paul Erlich was written a long time ago and it may seem radical and it is,IMO, a problem looking for a solution Then perhaps women world wide should be given free birth control. With each large increase in birth, chaos only becomes more likely. So many humans are starving, landless and completely without medical care now so=radical problem needs radical solution. Also, medical education to increase doctors, nurses, and concomitant services should be free.
Paid for by we, the taxpayers for the benefit of us all.
Frankly, it appears capitalism is eating itself alive. Many issues that are or would be to the good for humanity are always said to be too expensive. It seems that is how most issues are addressed by those that control and have most of the money.

Agreed, arrogance has no limits. I admit my own since I don't take much of their shit seriously and won't until their nation walks on the moon. I also think it's hilarious that some of them think their language is "superior". People will latch onto all kinds of silly notions in the name of national pride. I think accomplishments are far more impressive than opinions.

 

Moreover, as a consequence of fear of the "yellow peril," Chinese men were not allowed to bring their wives. Immigration of Chinese women was highly discouraged.

Life was hard on the frontier of the USA during the 19th century. It likely also was better for many than life in China- unlike Negroes, they were not forced to come here. Life also was cheap- and the lives of Asians and blacks was even cheaper. Remember the labor movement's rallying cry: "A dollar a day is a white man's pay". Now my answer to that is let the market decide. Fortunately, outsmarting white men is not really all that difficult!

It's why I didn't jump on that bandwagon. I still think his overseas dealing have the taint of crony, but I expect that from wealthy people. The rules affect you inversely to the amount of money you have. It has always been this way.

It will be interesting to watch Trump try to make hay about Hunter. He started to, but then stopped. Maybe someone on his staff finally earned their pay and got him to knock it off.

Or he's just watching the democrats shitcan their only viable candidate.
