My friend, a swat team did his mansion like he was some kind of Scarface. He got popped for lying to Congress. Nine years, ouch. In New York City there are people just walking around, awaiting trial who have stuck up banks. Roger Stone has no prior record.

Well if Trump asked them publicly to interfere- and I think you are guilty of taking him too seriously- then it is not a conspiracy. Do you have clue what a conspiracy is? Conspiracies, by their very nature are not conducted out in the open- despite Hillary's claim of a "vast right wing conspiracy".

But think what you are referring to is Trump's invitation to the Russian's to publicize Hillary's emails. Oh, how awful if Trump were to invite the Russians to reveal the truth about Hillary (at the same time as her campaign was inventing dirt about Trump, such as his peeing on Russian prostitutes. I suppose you would be much happier if Hillary's illegal email server which jeopardized national security had been quietly swept under the carpet.

I did not deny that the Russian tried to influence our election.- quite the contrary, I specifically indicated they did. BUT THAT'S NOT THE "CONSPIRACY" THAT SO MANY PEOPLE ARE CONCERNED ABOUT- THEY ARE CONCERNED ABOUT TRUMP'S INVOLVEMENT WITH THE RUSSIANS.

You comments in an effort to disparage me is so pathetically off-base. You appear to have no concept of what constitutes a conspiracy. And since you cannot contend with the point I raised, you choose to adduce matterss that are irrelevant to my point. Sheesh.

Oh, did I mention the Mueller Report? Or are you just trying to bring in irrelevancies to this discussion in hopes that you can blow smoke>

    Per the NYT (link below):

"After Mr. Trump secured the nomination, Fusion GPS was hired on behalf of Mrs. Clinton’s campaign and the D.N.C. by their law firm, Perkins Coie, to compile research about Mr. Trump, his businesses and associates — including possible connections with Russia. It was at that point that Fusion GPS hired Mr. Steele, who has deep sourcing in Russia, to gather information."

In addition to his "deep sourcing", Christopher Steele has a vivid imagination.

Sorry, storm, but you are pathetic- you couldn't rationally contend your way out of a wet paper bag. But you are under the illusion that you can cast a knowledgeable vote.

I don't tweet, or read tweets, and I'm certain Barr will be able to continue his job no matter who else does or doesn't tweet.

A conspiracy need not be secret, nor does it need to be illegal, all it needs is to have two or more individuals act toward a common end.
Usually the word conspire is used in a negative manner, as in two or more people acting in harmony to do something illegal, immoral, wrongful, or subversive, but people can conspire to do good, if they so wish.

Certainly Trump and the Russians acted in harmony.

Your rant about Hillary has so many holes in it it isn't even worth comment.

    Yes.

Teflon Don needs a proper hobby so as to cut down on social media. He is not a twentysomething. He will tweet himself right out of office.

    Allow me to translate:
Listen Don, I'm doing what you want and will continue to do so, but every time you Tweet about it, it makes it obvious that I'm doing so.

Making a public announcement that I'm your patsy makes it hard for me to do what you want while seemingly remaining impartial.

    So knock it off stupid.

Bode Roybal called the cops when he locked himself out of his own house in the Taft Canyon neighborhood. They showed up with their guns and shot him. He died in his own driveway.

I used to ride horseback in Colorado and Wyoming. One thing all Cowboys who ride will tell: If a horse drops a leg down a Prairie Dog hole or one between some rocks in a stream, his leg will get twisted and foundered. Well, I watch these Trump followers and wonder: When will they get neck foundered? After all, they have their head stuck in Trump's butt hole, don't they?

Bullzaye - Speaking of entitlements - Republicans are always ranting about Social Security & Medicare/Medicaid as "entitlements." YES - I feel "entitled" to what I've paid into all my professional career. It's not like that money just falls out of the sky from some generous benefactor's pocket. We ALL PAY into it, so we ARE ENTITLED to get it back. Social Security is guaranteed.

Employers want Social Security eliminated because they don't want a Federal law mandating that they also contribute to their employees' retirement, beside what the employees pay into it. Without a Federal law, watch how quickly employers suddenly "can't afford" to pay into those 401-k's anymore - just like they "can't afford" to kick in for health care for their employees these days. That's why deductibles and out-of-pocket amounts go up every year now.

The 401-k's are ours - but they ARE NOT guaranteed. The stock & bond markets go up and down - and can be manipulated - so when we retire, we may - or MAY NOT get back what we've put in to those 401-k's. Many people - sadly - don't even understand that.

How MANY TIMES do people have to have "business friendly" policies rammed own their throats & stuck up their asses before they figure out - "Hey ……. you know what?? We're getting screwed 20 ways from Sunday!!" In 1980, executive pay was about 25 to 30 times the avg. worker's pay. Today it's 350 times the avg. worker's pay.

Someone explain to me how that's even REMOTELY CLOSE to being fair. Now some 100% ASSHOLE will say, "It's because they WORK HARDER." Where - on the golf course??? On their yacht??? In one of their 7 homes scattered around the world??? In one of their underground "survival bunkers" they've had built in New Zealand??? In their high-priced "escort's" condo??? Or like Robert Kraft - owner of the New England Patriots football team - in a "massage parlor" getting all his "KINKS" worked on????

To those with that mentality, I say ………………. GROW A BRAIN.

First, instead of "grow a brain", you may use something like "expand your horizons". While your opinion is valued and thorough, we try to avoid attacking people (especially their intelligence) here.

In terms of your actual post, we are "entitled to" nothing. The land you live on is not yours, and never will be. The money you have jingling in your pocket is (and always will be) the property of the government in some way, shape or form. The social security system you may pay into is, indeed, a pooled resource. Again, I stress "government" here because unless you plan to walk into the Social Security Administration and demand your disability or retirement benefits, you will apply and either get approved or denied like the rest of us. And yes, if you do not have enough "credits" to draw retirement from the SSA, you essentially get nothing - even if you paid in a small amount.

The ballot box is where things get done. Until enough of us are in synchronicity, all we can do is vote, pray, rinse, repeat.

At the end of the day, and as I stated initially, I try to avoid politics altogether because the institution of politics is nothing more than a cash grab for one or more parties.

I will work, eat, sleep, exist and "do what I do" devoid any political influence or interest in who the next political puppets are.

I'm not sure why that diatribe was directed at me...except that I used the word "entitled", but not in any context having to do with the "entitlements" which you referenced.

Walkoflife - I won't be walking into a SS office and demanding my money. I shouldn't have to - nor should anyone else. All the money taken off my paychecks over the years I fully expect to get back if I live long enough. Both political parties have "borrowed" billions from the SS trust fund over the decades. If they (the puppet politicians in Washington) just put the money back they "borrowed" the SS trust fund would be in good shape. But since the Repubs gave away billions to the filthy rich in the latest "tax overhaul", I don't expect we - the American workers who paid in to the SSA - will see any refunding of OUR money anytime soon. It's called stealing. And in the eyes of God - if anyone believes in Him - it's stealing. Carve that in stone. Deceivers, liars, cheats, thieves, indeed lawbreakers of any kind will all be punished …………. like it or not. Maybe more folks need to read their Bibles and see what He says about such behaviors. Politicians are held in high esteem falsely. They lie, cheat, steal, deceive, corrupt - and are corrupted - to save their political skin until they retire with huge, fat, taxpayer-funded retirement packages ……………. all after telling us we have no right to our Social Security and Medicare money that we paid into from our paychecks. Trump's latest budget proposal cuts SS and Medicare benefits to all American citizens, because he has to pay for the billions of dollars he and the Repubs gave to their rich cronies and political benefactors. They are liars, cheats, & thieves of the worst sort. Their day is coming like a thief in the night.

Other countries are smart enough to vote such lying, cheating, hypocrites out of office. Not so here!! We can't get half of the U.S. off it's lazy ass to go and vote them out. Then we whine and bitch about how rough things are getting for most of us. The politicians work for us - not the other way around!!! If the American people came out to the polls in huge numbers and voted ALL of them out - maybe the next group would get the picture. And if THEY didn't - vote all of THEM out as well. Why do we treat them like royalty??? They treat us like chattel (if you don't know what that means - look it up.) and move us around, steering our thinking by deception. We need to move THEM ………………. OUT.

Such a brilliantly conceived, well-written refutation of my argument. You are appallingly insipid.
