I'm surprised she didn't also tell us that Bernie is an alien from the planet Nibiru. He's actually a Democratic Socialist, although his plan for 20% ownership of major corporations does worry me.

The official name is wringer washer, because they had them rollers which squeezed the water out of the wet clothes. We didn't get our first color set till like 1969 or 1972 or something. Our home town only had three stations and our father didn't see the point of getting color tv when you couldn't get color broadcast. He liked to listen to Paul Harvey. Our neighbors got a fancy solid oak Curtis Mathis set that had a record player and two giant speakers and it weighed about 900 pounds, requiring half a moving company to get it inside the house. That's how I got to see the first super bowel and the Randolph Scott western movies. Before that in the fifties and sixties I got to see Shane with Jack Palance and Allen Ladd in Shane on a 5&1/2ft by 3&1/2ft roll out silver screen and a projector right in our living room. We only had a few reel films for that thing. I think the other were Sergeant York with Gary Cooper, and Treasure of Sierra Madre and the Maltese falcon with Humphry Bogart. We had one or two Tom Mix films and a few Little Rascals Our Gang, Abbot & Costello, and I can't think of the others right now.

 

For a change I'm going to agree with you Orison. She did get brushed off to the sidelines. I like her because she did go and speak with Bashar Assad of Syria. I saw no harm done by what she did. I don't think she stands a chance of getting the Democrat nomination and have no idea off who she would align with at this point?.
