What a bunch of losers you all are anyway trying to attack a fan base, do you think they all knew Trump was going to show up a year ago when the tickets went on sale? So the president shows up at a sporting event and you just condemn 200,000 people and attack the sport in general? What a bunch of pathetic losers.
Federal judges' association calls emergency meeting after DOJ intervenes in case of Trump ally Roger Stone Kevin Johnson, USA TODAY Published 5:02 p.m. ET Feb. 17, 2020 Updated 6:33 p.m. ET Feb. 17, 2020 Roger Stone sentence: Judges worried about political interference excerpt: "WASHINGTON – A national association of federal judges has called an emergency meeting Tuesday to address growing concerns about the intervention of Justice Department officials and President Donald Trump in politically sensitive cases, the group’s president said Monday. Philadelphia U.S. District Judge Cynthia Rufe, who heads the independent Federal Judges Association, said the group “could not wait” until its spring conference to weigh in on a deepening crisis that has enveloped the Justice Department and Attorney General William Barr. “There are plenty of issues that we are concerned about,” Rufe told USA TODAY. “We’ll talk all of this through.” Rufe, nominated to the bench by President George W. Bush, said the group of more than 1,000 federal jurists called for the meeting last week after Trump criticized prosecutors' initial sentencing recommendation for his friend Roger Stone and the Department of Justice overruled them."
Roger Stone makes 2nd bid for new trial The judge previously turned down a similar motion by the longtime Trump adviser. By ANITA KUMAR 02/14/2020 07:14 PM EST Roger Stone makes 2nd bid for new trial excerpt: "Roger Stone, the longtime confidant of Donald Trump whose criminal conviction angered the president and led to the turmoil engulfing the Justice Department, is making another bid for a new trial. The move by Stone's defense team was disclosed by U.S. District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson in an order Friday, but the motion itself remains secret. "It's under seal, so I can't discuss it," Stone attorney Grant Smith said Friday. Last November, a jury convicted Stone on all seven charges he faced: five counts of lying to Congress, one of obstructing a congressional investigation and one of witness tampering."
After delays, Trump on track to build more than 450 miles of border wall The White House says the border wall will ‘substantially be done’ within the year — just in time for a reelection race. By ANITA KUMAR 02/14/2020 07:14 PM EST After delays, Trump on track to build more than 450 miles of border wall excerpt: "After years of setbacks, President Donald Trump is on track to build more than 450 miles of a wall along the southern border within the year, the White House says, making good on a campaign pledge as he seeks reelection. “The project will substantially be done by the end of the year or early next year,” Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law and senior adviser, said in an interview Friday with POLITICO. “That was a promise, and it’s important that it’s now being accomplished.”"
U.S. taxpayer money is being spent on an ineffectual wall in no-man's land that could have addressed eight recent bankruptcies in the coal mining industry (whose export market was damaged by Trump's trade war). Trump wants others to believe that the problems were caused by immigrants coming across the border and stealing all the good jobs away from Americans. The money could have been used to remedy the insolvent pensions of coal miners and auto workers in states like Wyoming, W. Virgininia, and Michigan (a swing state Trump barely won). It could have been spent bailing out farmers damaged by Trump's trade war in states such as Wisconsin (another swing state he barely won). Trump is hoping voters in those states will feel protected by his vanity wall. Bailing out the farmers and coal miners under Trump has cost U.S. taxpayers about $38 billion. Trump's wall is estimated to cost $25 billion, money that could have been spent on effective security programs such as tracking illegal drugs transported through the mail system which is a major problem. Instead, Trump is building his 'transparent wall' so that, as Trump says, Americans on the other side won't be hit on the head with 60 lb bags of drugs that were thrown over it by smugglers.
I don't think it's the fan base people are attacking, nor the driver. It's the politician who's shamelessly playing them. You know, the one you featured in all those splashy NASCAR adds. Working for the Trump campaign now?
Next up: Trump does a series of photo-ops with NASCAR racers standing in front of his border wall with a race car and his Presidential limo, a plane overhead flying a banner 'Promises Kept', and a photo of Air Force One with a crowd of people taken in 2004 during the G.W. Bush administration. Trump can take it one step further by putting it all on the cover of a fake Time magazine and hanging it on the wall of his resorts.
So you go from stereotyping a bloke you don't even know, to being corrected on what you didn't know only to make another incorrect statement and have to be corrected to then attacking the fans instead and then somehow having a philosophical thought at the end of it that nullifies any of the rubbish you said earlier? Lol. You're a special kinda stupid ain't ya.
Crikey, what bloke am I stereotyping and what are those corrections and what fans am I attacking? I thought you got the message that the only person I was attacking was your fuehrer, der Trumpster und family. I realize you're taking it hard, but that's what happens when you try to run big political ads in election year & get exposed for it.
Donald Trump: 0 Books: 8 What do you know, another book and another blistering expose on our current President, well I'm in shock...lol.. Dark Towers: A searing exposé of the most scandalous bank in the world, and its shadowy ties to Donald Trump’s business empire Award-winning journalist David Enrich reveals the truth about Deutsche Bank and its epic path of devastation. Tracing the bank’s history back to its propping up of a default-prone American developer in the 1880s, helping the Nazis build Auschwitz, and wooing Eastern Bloc authoritarians. The bank was manipulating markets, violating international sanctions to aid terrorist regimes, scamming investors, defrauding regulators, and laundering money for Russian oligarchs. Ever desperate for an American foothold, Deutsche also started doing business with a self-promoting real estate magnate nearly every other bank in the world deemed too dangerous to touch: Donald Trump. Over the next twenty years, Deutsche executives loaned billions to Trump, the Kushner family, and an array of scandal-tarred clients, including convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Clinton encouraged the inclusion of witnesses at his Senate impeachment trial which included witnesses and documents, lasted five weeks, and ended with a meaningful acquittal. Trump was cowardly, withheld all the evidence, and celebrated a frivolous acquittal. He talked bold about attending his impeachment hearings and facing his accusers but cowered and didn't. He talked about reading the full Ukraine phone call on TV but didn't. Trump says he'd love to release his tax returns but never will on his own volition. Trump referred to his days of promiscuous sex as his risk that he thinks was greater than those taken by the ones who served in the Vietnam war which he would never do. Trump relegates the sacrifices of Vietnam war troops to providing him with the freedom to have risky sex.while they fought and to endowing him with the blessing to later use Vietnam POW's as political punching bags even after their death. He says he'd run unarmed into a school shooting but would run in the opposite direction, like he did with Vietnam.
Unfortunately for Melania, she chose to marry Trump and bear his child so that she could obtain U.S. citizenship for herself which she later quietly used to bring her father and sister to the U.S., the anchor baby and chain migration approaches that Trump is so against. It's not surprising that Merlania is quiet about her foreign roots and that she hasn't released any of her immigration documents to try to show that she is a model citizen who did everything by the law.
Cuba burning tires to power factory as US oil sanctions bite AFP February 17, 2020 Cuba burning tires to power factory as US oil sanctions bite excerpt: "On orders of President Miguel Diaz-Canel, the firm Cementos Cienfuegos, located in the center of the country, will receive an increasing supply of used tires to burn, the official daily Granma said Monday. Cuba has been suffering oil shortages since last September, when the administration of President Donald Trump imposed sanctions on ships carrying petroleum to the island from its main fuel supplier Venezuela. Washington introduced the sanctions to step up pressure on Havana to stop backing Venezuela's leader Nicolas Maduro, whose rival Juan Guaido has been recognized by the United States and other western states as the country's acting president. The US sanctions have forced Cuba to adopt a slew of emergency measures to make ends meet, such as slashing bus and train services and cutting the length of the working day in the public sector. It has also had to use oxen to pull farm machinery and horses to transport goods in wagons."
India builds wall along slum ahead of Trump visit India has hastily erected a wall in Gujarat state ahead of a visit by U.S. President Donald Trump, with critics saying it is designed to block the view of a slum area inhabited by more than 2,000 people By AJIT SOLANKI, Associated Press February 18, 2020, 7:52 AM India builds wall along slum ahead of Trump visit excerpt: "AHMEDABAD, India -- A half-kilometer (1,640-foot) brick wall has been hastily erected in India's Gujarat state ahead of a visit by U.S. President Donald Trump, with critics saying it was built to block the view of a slum area inhabited by more than 2,000 people. “Since they are spending so much money on this wall, why not use that to improve our slum and provide better facilities for us,” said Keshi Saraniya, a resident. “Why are they hiding us poor people?”"
Bolton jabs Trump but avoids Ukraine as book battle rages on Analysis by Paul LeBlanc and Zachary B. Wolf, CNN Updated 7:35 AM ET, Tue February 18, 2020 Former NSA advisor John Bolton jabs Trump but avoids Ukraine as book battle rages on - CNNPolitics excerpt: "New charges for Lev Parnas? Elsewhere, federal prosecutors are weighing new charges against associates of Rudy Giuliani in connection with a company that paid him $500,000, according to people familiar with the investigation. Prosecutors with the US Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York are considering whether to charge Giuliani associate Lev Parnas and at least one of his business partners with misleading potential investors for Fraud Guarantee, the Florida-based company that paid Giuliani, Trump's personal attorney, these people say. The scrutiny of Fraud Guarantee brings the investigation closer to Giuliani and raises questions about what role the former mayor played, if any, in the marketing of the company. A lawyer for Giuliani said his client never had any conversations about investor pitches or marketing with Parnas or his business partner David Correia."
The low-profile Cipollone doesn't receive the attention that other Trump officials do, but he has been instrumental in implementing Trump's desire for expansive, unchecked executive power. Trump’s expansive view of executive power gets a post-impeachment surge After defeating impeachment, Trump is displaying the full extent of his legal authority — creating a challenge for White House counsel Pat Cipollone. By NANCY COOK 02/18/2020 04:30 AM EST Trump’s expansive view of executive power gets a post-impeachment surge excerpt: "Trump has fired or pushed out White House staffers who testified against him in the House proceedings, while elevating or re-hiring key aides who he views as loyal. He reminded the attorney general over Twitter that he believes he has the right to interfere in judicial matters — an awkward situation for Cipollone, who remains close to Bill Barr. Trump said in a radio interview he may stop the longstanding practice of having aides listen in on phone calls with foreign leaders since he distrusts so much of his national security staff. Trump’s expansive view of executive power, long supported by conservatives like Cipollone, is now being put to the test. Trump survived both the Mueller probe and impeachment. He has received almost no pushback from Republican lawmakers. And the White House’s stonewalling of congressional investigations has proven to be politically effective. “It is beyond anything the presidency has achieved yet and beyond anything Nixon could have imagined,” said Michael Gerhardt, a professor of jurisprudence at the University of North Carolina School of Law whose work centers on constitutional conflicts between presidents and Congress. “There is literally no way to hold the president accountable in Pat Cipollone’s worldview.”"
Fraud Guarantee is an oxymoron name for a company associated with Trump's underworld agent, Giuliani. With the association of that company with Giuliani, it's not a guarantee against fraud but rather a guarantee that fraud will happen.
Eddie DeBartolo Jr., billionaire ex-NFL owner, pardoned by Trump By Kathryn Watson February 18, 2020 / 12:20 PM / CBS News Eddie DeBartolo Jr., billionaire ex-NFL owner, pardoned by Trump excerpt: "It's unclear why the president prioritized pardoning Debartolo Jr., who is no longer being punished for his admitted criminal activity, although the president has been accused of prioritizing well-connected and wealthy individuals over unknown Americans convicted of non-violent offenses in decades past. DeBartolo previously requested a pardon from both Presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush, and both declined the request. The White House has touted cases like that of pardoned Alice Marie Johnson, an African-American grandmother convicted decades ago of non-violence drug offense. But the president's clemency actions have also benefitted controversial prominent figures. As of the beginning of February, a Washington Post review found that all but five of the 24 people who had received clemency from the president had a line into the White House or a reputation with the president's political base. Controversial figures who have received some form of clemency include former Sheriff Joe Arpaio, "Scooter" Libby and conservative figure Dinesh D'Souza."
