Aaah...you said you were going to St Ives. The destination for the person that you met was not given. So one could say they were going else where or even coming from St. Ives But not going there. So both your answer and mine would be incorrect.
The TV show, Naked and Afaid . When the two contestants reach the extraction point, the driver gets there just as they come out of the brush after their 21 days Perfect timing or just good acting? Lol
Has anyone ever been in a whiteout snow storm while driving ? You slow down , Turn on your flashers and headlights. You can just barely see the flashing tail lights of the car in front of you or the glow of the headlights of the car behind you. And then some jackass goes flying past you in the other lane with no lights or flashers on and you have to wonder how the hell did he /she not get into a accident ? Now that confuses me on how people can be so stupid. I found myself in this condition This past Saturday on a interstate highway.
It has happened to me in torrential rain, but we don't get much snow here in the South of the UK. The spray on the road does make visibility even worse.
yeah, those people confuse me about as much as the ones who slow down to 10 mph because of a light drizzle.
Yoopers driving US2 from the Soo to Ironwood probably experience more whiteouts than any stretch in the US. Didn’t like it and one of the reasons I now live in Western WA.....close to sea level.
