same. they were telling everyone "only 2" of the water and toilet paper. I think it's the same for the paper towels. I was getting potatoes, a cantaloupe, and a gallon of milk.

I bought a bottle of vodka and I'll probably end up eating a brussels sprout for dinner every night and wiping my ass with my socks, and I bet I outlive everyone.

 

I had to do some shopping today... Two stores, which is my normal routine. Odd that both were packed with shoppers on a Friday morning.

Both stores were out of...
Toilet paper, tissues, paper towels, and napkins.
Milk of any kind. (dairy milk)
Bread isle was wiped out.
Canned foods isle was decimated.
any kind of disinfectant was gone.

Didn't need any of that stuff myself, just an observation.


What disturbed me most was the lines at the gas station... Wtf, people? Zombie apocalypse. much?

 

My friend sent me a picture of the toilet paper aisle when she went to the store today. It was completely empty.

Soon we'll all be like, please can you spare a square? I only need one square.

 

why waist money on toilet paper. there are many other things more important like food
I was in Walgreen yesterday in my town it was sold out on toilet paper most cleaning supplies, face masks. but i had to laugh when i looked at the food isles they were still full. But my biggest laugh was everyone going crazy over toilet paper. But i looked in the feminine hygiene isle and it was fully stocked.

 

so how many of you here have stockpiled …. even just a little ?

 

I just got back from the store and noticed the exact same thing.

It's a world gone mad.

 

Nothing out of the ordinary for me... I have my normal supply and I'm not a prepper.

the March break is happening at schools currently. After the March break, schools will not resume for at least the next two weeks. So kids are getting at least a three week March break. Toronto Canada is here, for me.

we might have talked about this before, but I don't remember when so I'll risk repetition... I think that watching videos from this site is ok under certain circumstances, but usually it's not from a credible source and I typically avoid it if it seems like it's a controversial/not widely supported idea.

But you say Schumer... I thought Trump did it. He cut the people that address things like Ebola who would have helped with Covid 19.

 

It's official. My espanol instructor just did a group email to our clase explaining that as of today classes are moved to an online format. She gives us two options for format; one of which involves conferencing; which I like because it means we still get lecture.
